Naga in HMM? Or I'm just confusing that with the Warcraft race.

Maybe if you pm your plan and I'll see if it's possible and if it is I will get the rest of the Fey to help if it causes enough havoc.

Also don't suspect a post from me until Monday.

Expect. And they are similar in appearance, but their culture is essentially idealistic samurai feudalistic culture where the Daimyo aren't all *******s. And a worship of water and it's goddess. They essentially get a lot of snakey samurai and priestesses and several water based Japanese folklore spirits like Kappa, and Yuki-Onna. I find them kinda boring to play honestly. Undead are more fun. Except in undead vs undead conflicts. Then it's even more tedious.

"I get bonuses against living enemies!" "Me too!" "But neither of us are alive." "Huh... Guy with most units wins?" "Sounds about right!"

I love playing undead in Heroes. Having thousands of skeletons is kind of efficient if you can get them to attack before being smashed by a super powerful unit.

"Hey bro! Watch my skeletons army!"
"WTF? It's over nine thousand!"

Uh... Can;t do that in 6, everyone got completely rebalanced. Undead is still the strongest though, except against each other. The weakest is probably Demons. The game basically has become who has the most healing wins. Demons have none. Hence the problem. Undead have the most.

All healing revives now, you see. Each team, except demons and orcs have a healer unit, that can cast a healing spell twice per stack. Then the Light and Earth spell tree respectively have the only healing spells. Earth has regen over time and Light has straight up heal. Of course, only a few teams get the light tree, so it get's compounded. Demons only can use the earth heal over time spell. Not sure on orcs.

Undeads dominance comes from three areas. Their racial move, Necromancy, is a big nuke heal in a fight. They can use earth's heal over time. And then their healers, the Banshee, heal an undead and damage all living around the healed undead, adding that damage to the healing. So they often don;t lose units in skirmishes so they just keep snowballing because of their huge unit generation, and their building that let's them buy back their killed units in the castle.

The only weakness for undead is probably that they absolutly degrade into a beat down of numbers because with literally two exceptions, their entire skillset relies on them fighting living opponents. Banshees? Only the heal, no bonus. Lammasu? Poison aura only hurts living. Avatars moves only work on the living, Liches use dark spells which have half effectiveness on undead. Ghouls get bonus speed and attack... on the living. And so forth.

All I have ever played was Heroes 2 and 3, so I guess there's a lot of changes that has been made to the games after the 3rd.

Not that I'm playing Undeads because they're the strongest. Just because I have a preference for dark and undead things in all games. Not surprising that my first character in Diablo 2 was a Necromancer, and my first character in D&D was a Sorcerer focused in Necromancy spells.

Undead has always been the strongest but I know what you mean. My biggest complaint about 6 essentially is... Fights take forever. Unless the fight is horrifically lopsided, it;s an endless back and forth of death and healing to see who can do more damage than the other side can heal in time.

Speaking of which... Val has a rather intense hatred for her species. Sorta like Jaina, except Val doesn't haul off and stab demons at the first impulse. Though she's tempted to go try and get her adoptive family into the fight.

Adoptive family?

And do you really think we have the luxury of choosing our allies?

Nope. Val certainly is gonna point out that an ally that is just as likely to eat you is not an ally, it's a rabid animal. The necromancer cult of course.

Probably the only group Val trusts explicitly. But she's kinda a fanatic.

Val is so cheeky its funny. Telling what to suspect from a race to Wolfie is like telling yourself how to breath.

I have a great way to respond but I want to give the others a chance before Alistair arrives.

Heh. Dunno, think Val might argue still. I foresee more than one kitty hackles rising between Jaina and Val at this other demon showing up. You'd think Phyron turning would have been a good indicator already hehe.

Phyron turning was a misunderstood intention. He did it to protect his kind but yet still risky.

He may just pay for it right now.

I'm aware. Val though still doesn't get it. She'll be real confused if he gets chewed out now
