Can't become one? Logically your right but you've been involved with Lucifer. Don't give your hopes up.

Also there are Lucifer statues around so you may if you do the right thing. Get back in contact with her.

I said it sounded, not that it was. There's really no need to tell that if it is a known fact. Everyone with a right mind would know that putting someone of royalty in danger would result in being killed, imprisonned or whatever bad fate may await.

Val doesn;t know how to use statue speak. Since, you know, she figures how it worked was they were in a special place last time. Also, chances are she'll just see a necromancer. Undeath is easiest to perform on the New Moon when it's pitch black. The ritual climaxes at midnight.

It's night soon.

Also we got six days in kaethos to win this war.

Can we do it? I hope so anyway when we head off to Elderon capital if you all come. Just going to say everything will be cutthroat. No more messing around the likely hood of you being killed has increased. It's going to be one hell of a week.

@Wolfie: Only if he is drunk. Even then, I would wonder sometimes normally.

Pft, Val has been expecting to die constantly hah. And she's going to be pretty annoyed. "Wait so we waited to do what I said we should do til the last damn minute and now we are doing it? Yeesh."

And she'd still be annoyed since to her, it was just dancing around the problem instead of slicing the head off. And now we waitied til it's gotten big and strong to go at it's head.

Good.

While you must understand no matter what time we tried to get the emperor it would of be suicide. Now we have no option but take the suicidal route. Also other things still mattered in the reason why we didn't strike before.

But some would say like Uther fighting them at the strongest is the right time to end their reign for good. If you could beat them at their best then you secured your freedom.

Sure. But if you beat them at their worst you also secure your freedom. Either way, Val figured assassination would have been better than this war thing. Though she loves the big buffet.

Not exactly true. If you beat them at their best they think twice about coming back. If you beat them at their worst they just come back at there best. To end it one blow just hit them hard enough. Force a conclusion.

That would imply ambushes and surprise tactics, destroying food supplies and so forth are ineffectual compared to simply throwing everything you have at somebody and hoping it works out.

Who needs tactics, we have the unstoppable force and shock and awe!

Guess we're using Ksel as our tactician.

But seriously. If you beat them at their worst in a manner THEY CAN'T come back from... Saves on random death.

Of course, besieging a capitol city can be a real pain, depending on the cities layout. They tend to be easier to breach than castles due to the large size of it, it's hard to concentrate the soldiers in the proper locations. The real problem arises from the fact the empire is far more technologically advanced. Those steam powered doom cannons could do some real damage if they are on the turrets.

Ultimately the best method to do this would be to probably get into the city first. Then have the army start marching there. This will make them draw the soldiers to the walls, meaning we can begin the operation of eliminating the inner workings of the Empire. No generals, no chain of command, no coordination. No Emperor, well... This is over.

At least that's how Val sees it. She's not so good with army stuff, but she understands taking the head off the target rather than the fingers. Taking the fingers is hilarious and can be a pain, but they can still bite you. take the head and it all goes down. Unless it's undead, then it's only maybe it goes down.

Rebels have been cutting off supply lines, ambushing targets. Uther spent good half of the rp playing Hit and run tactics with the empire.

It's not a simple throw everything you got at it. I may not of shown it well but the war been going on around us. You just see it get mentioned of such activities here and there.

There was no way to beat them at their weakest to make sure they stay down. The rebellion was barely organised at the time, the empire still had the upper hand. Sure if it was possible to break them at their weakest and make sure they don't come back. I would of have Wolfie took the option. But there was no such option.

Elderon are determined little ****ers. They don't stay down if they lose badly against an enemy. Specially if they weren't prepared they just get ready and then hit you hard. To beat the Empire of Elderon you'll have to beat them at their best. Which is an open pitch battle. No one has done it since the heights of Alden Empire. They now part of Elderon's empire.

If you can take an enemy who is believed to be impossible to beat and break them at their best. You not only beat them, you break their spirit. That is what needs to be done to secure the south. To ensure they never march past Charred Valley again.

And the Empire uses tactics, just not showing it as they really haven't been featured in fighting since Wolveshaven. Which I may say entered the city an sieged it quickly and skillfully.

Also I guess Leb has no time recently to post. Er. I'll wait a bit longer hopefully he gets time. *Runs to play Skyrim*

Well yeah. Be pretty piss poor soldiers if they surrendered the first time they lost their army to desertion, poison, ambush etc.

Though honestly I'm a little amazed they didn't put Ksel in a supply caravan and just wait and see if someone tries something. Or just a couple Fae in one or two, probably crush the rebellion real fast. Since they'd have to find Ksel which would require locating where she burrowed into the ground and run down leagues of undersea tunnel.

Course I've actually gone and figured out how Ksel actually works compared to 'normal' Fae. There's a reason she's kinda a mixed back of tactical mindset and impulsive "SMASH NOW!" And what the shiny person in her armor actually is.
