I've always been fast and I have been waiting a good while.

Capra is easy to work with, transform, ready for fight.

Val is easy too. What was she doing? Looking for Aaron. Logical place to be, rooftops for vantage point.

Big explosion? Fall off vantage point.

Ash and smoke? Consider firefighting knowledge. Crap is bad for your eyes, lungs and can bury you alive. Vision is poor at best. In a city. Logical action? Shelter.

Character thoughts on occurances, on ambience. Done.

Ash turn you to stone huh. Pompei much hm? Well, Val doesn't know that. So she's probably gonna get captured yup.

This scene was inspired after a nightmare of mine when I was younger. It also inspired the charcoal garden at Legion's point.

Yeah it is pompei much, I think that influenced the dream some how. Must of been something I watched when I was younger.

I wrote a story about Pompei once.

That's also a lot where I was getting Val's coughing and burning sensation and eye watering from. That and an unfortunate experience where we had to help fight a fire that was preparing to go forest fire. Very unpleasant

But yeah, Val as a statue. somehow I suspect that's going to have unfortunate effects on her body what with how delicately and pricariously balanced her bodies magical forces are and such.

Probably a weird looking statue. Unclothed she looks like a part of the night sky decided to take humanoid form and walk around. Like a void in reality. That bleeds glowing green blood and cries glowing blue tears.

I'm amazed no ones tried to dissect her yet and see if she has actual bones and organs or what the hells going on in there.

You've better odds than Val. She basically has to hope that her bizarre anatomy is enough to save her.

She also likely wishes more now that she could be undead.

I shall use a mystical method to determine this.

Known only to the greatest of hermits and monks, lurking in the darkest corners of the world, their chants reach crescendo as I bring this matter to their foremost guidance. They have granted me the tools I require to discover the answer to this dire time.

I rolled a one.

Survey says no.

Seems that way.I'm expecting them to take her fingers or something. Or her teeth. Probably the only way to get them from her is while she's made of stone.

You know if you break her if shes a statue you killed her. So would you take the risk?

Just hope Val doesn't roll a 1 if she remains stable on her feet after changing into a statue.

Statues aren't actually THAT fragile. Well, Marble ones maybe. It's the way they are carved that determines how fragile they are.

As for breaking the statue, yes it'd kill her if it was significant damage. broke the fingers off, just means she'd be missing the fingers. Break the teeth off, there you go.

Her teeth are nearly indestructible otherwise. The only reason she can't bite through things like metal and such is simply not having the jaw strength.

As for take the risk, beats me, I'm not the fae or whatever might break her.
