I prefer charging to deal a hell lot of damage then hitting two ennemies rather than having reach. Reach is good unless you have a good set of feats.

True, but upside to fullblade is it doesn't have the problem with hitting a close in target that other reach weapons have, seeing as it follows more the guidelines of a whip in that regard.
That aside, its horrible on a crit miss, considering how much easier it is to threaten party members.

Yeah. Nothing is more horrible than someone who rolls a 1 with a reach or projectile weapon.

Believe it or not, one of my friend accidentally killed me with his melee fighting Druid when I was playing a low-leveled mage. He rolled a one. Worse, I just started playing with it. I broke a new record that time. Playing a character for only 2 minutes before he gets himself killed. I've spent over a hour to make him.

Yeah, rolling a 1 to kill your allies? Thats actually an optional rule. The real fumble rules is you fail on a 1 for an attack roll or a saving throw. Nothing else. You can stll pass on a 1 with a skill. Which saves on my master smith failed compared to the guy who's never even touche a hammer in his life.

I also have claws. And eventually, horrible horrible death in form of possesion of stuff. And neater tricks.

Reminds me of that same friend of mine who had his lower body encased in ice. He broke much of his bones off his lower body when he tried to get himself out.

My old DM used that optional rule for combat.
... And yes I knocked off a guys head with a fullblade doing that with Mauvari.

My DM is a hardcore one. He plays with rough rules, and add some to make it more hardcore. He was a player for Wizards of the Coast, so he's good with hardcore things.

We're currently playing Return to Temple of Elemental Evil with hardcore rules. No wonder I made over 8 characters in his game. To think his girlfriend never got herself killed when everyone did at least twice. After that he says that's because Rangers are the best class to not get killed, but he didn't mentionned that was because he gave her some special powers along.

lol. My characters have always gotten brought back to life by party members so I've never had that issue.

Meanwhile, I have half an hour before I log off.

Unfortunately, I have either a greedy ******* in my team or or the avaiability or being brought back isn't there. Then, I often refuses to be brought back. If a character gets killed in battle, then it is not good enough to be kept.

Yes, girlfriends have super powers, we know that. And Rangers are horrible. Horrible. Best class not to get killed... Fighter at low levels, wizard at high levels. About the same around mid.

I would join darlings, but I also never played D&D and the character creation seems a tad complex.
