I find it odd that some of our characters already have relationships. Guess i'll play with that though.

Also, I have one advice to give you. Be patient. I've seen you mentionning about this thread on several different places. Being a DM requires a lot of patience, especially when hosting a game on forums. Wolfe lives in the UK, and myself in Canada, so we're not always avaible when someone else is on. Plus some of us have job or school, at different times.

Yup. I have a job of my own now starting on wensday. Patience I have.

As far as the relationships, my old DM always gave a reason as to why the characters were together in the first place. Hence why I did that.

There is indeed a reason why characters are together in the beginning, but that's usually by being grouped together in a group of adventurers, or a quest that interest characters, like an employer posting a quest that gather the characters together.

Meh, I wanted the start to be more casual than professional.
As for general intrest, the palidin threw out that. Employer will be soon, but I figured I'd make it so we had at least some semblence of a structure before hand. And that means talking to the bartender and me rip off a videogame for the maps at the beginning since I'll be using MS paint.

It's always a good idea for characters to have a common goal as I find msot groups barely hold toghether for any reason.

It's jsut as wel, Quilindra would be inclined to avoid you otherwise. Strange creatures plus very weakened demon means lot's of caution.
