*gasp* THEY HAVE CHURROS!
|
I meant dark geeze. I haven't played it in a while, and couldn't remember if it was Dark or Night. Orcs: Physical brutes. Dark Elves: Destruction magic (Mainly fire) brutes. Teehee. EDIT: Or maybe I'll do two, and they'll be buddies. The dark elf would do all the talking, as all the orc knows is "INSERT NAME HERE SMASH!!!" not literally, but he pretty much only knows how to fight. Edited by MrEddIsDead, Feb 28 2011, 07:48 PM.

..Not really.. Dunmer are actually the most balanced race you can get. But they are more resistant to fire. If you want a pure destruction magic, try an Altmer. |

I compared the races once. For whatever reason, the Dark Elf was the better suited on to destruction magic. .....I HAVE TO LEARN THAT THEY'RE DARK ELVES, NOT NIGHT. Every time I type it's always night first ![]() Characters usually either a Nord, Dark Elf, or Orc though. |

Maybe because of their resistance for fire instead of the Atmer's weakness to all three elements? Just trying to point you in the right direction

Dude its literally been years since I played that, I can remember like nothing of it... Anyway, would it be okay if I 1: Had two characters, 2: Had a Daedric Battleaxe for my Orc? And I either want Apotheosis or Mankar Camoran's staff for the Elf. |

I know, that's why I'm trying to help. Feel free to ask any question about the game. Camoran's staff seems unlikely, as its one-of-a-kind, retrieved by the champion of Cyrodiil. Anyway, my Breton: Name: Claude Velain Race: Breton Faction/Relationship to the Plot: Dark Brotherhood Assassin Magical Abilities/Characteristics: Destruction (fire/frost touch), Illusion (Charm, Invisibility) and Mysticism (Detect life). Physical Characteristics: Mid-length brown hair, brown eyes and a rather pale skin. His build is quite average, though his running speed is slightly faster than normal. Personality: Enjoys interacting with citizens using charm spells to get information out of them. Usually uses them as an extra source of information when fulfilling a contract. Remains calm during assassinations, enjoys chatting a lot when he isn’t contracted though. Weapons and Fighting Style: Uses an unenchanted ebony shortsword and glass bow with steel arrows. He hasn’t mastered either of them because of his reliance on magic as well. Normally tries to sneak behind his victim, grabbing their mouth and neck whilst using either fire/frost magic. Uses his bow instead of magic for long rang. Brief History: Lived a nice life in Chorrol, using his Charm magic to make people like him. Spend his days chatting with them. One day however, a member of the Chorrol mages guild threatened to reveal his abuse of magic to the council of mages. Afraid of possible punishment, he strangled the imperial mage, using fire and frost magic. When he woke up in the middle of the night, he was invited into the Dark Brotherhood. Leaving a burned handprint in his victim’s face has been his signature ever since. |

Why should Bretons be holy? In the game, Lucien Lachance recruits you. That's as Breton a name as you'll encounter. Also, the traitor is called Mathieu, another Breton name. |

Don't put too much thought in them. Just wanted to point out Bretons aren't that holy. Names are one of the few differences between Imperials and Bretons. Voices are also different, but I'm not sure if that's true for the female characters. But if you'd like, I could link you a list of Oblivion's characters. You might find a fitting name there. Meh. I'm not really a fan of copying names out of the game we'll be RPing xP Do trolls and orcs have similar names? I was thinking of Thrugg which is (at least how i've known it) a troll name, but I honestly have no clue xP If Thrugg's not Orcish enough, then yeah, post that link. I'll use it for ideas! |

I think most Orcs have names like Grogh Bo-Gorank. Anyway, the list is HERE.

I'll have to look at it later then. Yeah I'm usually good with names, but orcs... Blargh... And Thrugg is only part of the name, I'm still trying to think about the other part xP Edited by MrEddIsDead, Feb 28 2011, 09:51 PM.

I always attributed the dunmer's resistance to fire and affinity for destructive magic to the volcanic activity in their homeland. |

Usually Orcs have three partsin their nane in Oblivion, if I recall right. Like BWN said, don't bother too much with names. Mine is completly unique (an stupid). In fact no, Riffus Maximus was the name of a part in the song Cult of Personnality. I've been using that nickname since I found out about it. |
