We need more paladins, sooo.... That's why I'm now considering the Paladins more. If there weren't so many DeathKnights, I would've picked them. However, I've gotten several cards so far, mostly because I wasn't sure about my favourite colour. Didn't like most of the cards though, once I get a card that feels right, I'll build a character around it. I think I'll pick a side after I've finished that character.
Oh god, now I talked myself into joining.
Currently having an online Geography lesson from my teacher though, the whole class is following it, so I won't start just yet.

I had the magician first, but I am not really a fan of only using magic, or leaning more towards magic than anything else. I prefer 50/50, or at best 60/40 in favor of physical capabilities. The death cards description felt right for a character, so I just made it a revised Noname.

I'd like to note that I expected Wolfie to make it more grey versus grey in the remake of this. Ain't that a good thing?

Not my thing either. I NEED a hybrid. Because I'm generally a hybrid, and I prefer to do it that way.

Ain't that a good thing? I should have specified that you fell short. Once again (to me) you clearly intended the Paladins to be the good guys.

I find it rather amusing that you figured the Paladins are the good guys without even the rp starting.
Oh that's right I didn't rewright the Paladin and Deathknight organisation descriptions. Give me a moment.

Fail. Plus Deathknights has an evil ring to it.
My character has a name, I just don't know what it is yet.
- Quote:
-
Name: Alejandro d'Anconia Age: 23 Gender: Male Rune: Wheel of FortuneRune Level: Mature Spells and Abilities: Trilingual(skill): Alejandro is perfectly fluent in Spanish and English, and has basic interpersonal communication skills (BICS) in Japanese. He does not however have a mastery of all the social rules of the Japanese language. Extreme Masochist(skill): He experiences pain entirely differently than normal people, and therefore is not psychologically inhibited by it, and can even be encouraged to continue fighting because of it. However he is not stupid, and can tell when he is in danger based of the pain he is experiencing. Unfortunately he tends to ignore that rationality. Reverse Causality Bullet: fires a magic bullet from his finger. It never misses. The damage is inflicted and then the bullet fires to meet it. Weaker than a normal bullet, can normally pierce unprotected skin. The bullet dissolves after impact. The bullet dissolves after impact. When casting, he immitate firing a gun. "Bang!" Its not as accurrate as a normal bullet in the sense that while what he aims at will get hit he can't narrow his focus down to a single point like a gunmen would. Soul Chain: Attaches a thick metal chain around the neck of him and one other person. Those bound by the chain share their manna pool (which can be hoarded by the most dominant or the most adept at magic. Any damage inflicted after the linking will be felt by done on both parties. Dream Council: He has the power to visit the Wyrd sister's (the three fates) in his dreams. They are ussually fairly cooperative, and their predictions are always right. Seize the moment: An extremely powerful attack, but it is terribly innacurate unless used against a person who is a state of extreme misfortune, weakness, or vulnerability. There is no kill like overkill. When the conditions are right to make this move accurate it will target the most defensless/weakest person in the area both phsycial and pschological weakness and vulnerability are accounted for. Magic Prosthesis : Can keep his body functioning despite damage by replacing muscle fibers, and even complex organs with magic implants. This works passively starting as soon as its needed until he runs out of magic energy. If it kicks in ahead of time, he can continue fighting for five to ten minutes after his brain is destroyed. Expunge: Destroys all foreign objects inside his body, such as weapons, parasites, and poisons. Food is not destroyed if it has been mostly digested. Expel: Anything that has pierced his body (sword, knife, bullet, etc.) is violently shot back in the direction it came from, normally point first. Transfer: Fully heals one person (usually the user) by placing all damage dealt to them on another. Requires either direct contact or a soul chain. When done through physical contact it can be resisted and there is a high risk of failing on mature rune users. When Soul chain is in effect success is guaranteed. Soul chain is broken by this attack. Reject Causality: For up to two minutes, his body will instantly heal any further damage inflicted upon him, and destroy any objects that pierce him. Weakness: When his rune is active, reverse causality effects him. Meaning anything thrown at him will hit him. Victory is almost always dependent on him letting himself get impalified first. Under normal circumstances, he has limited offensive capabilities. Personality: He is a sadomasochist, and is fatalistic. In his mind misfortune is the ordinary and must be survived, while luck is rare and needs to be capitalized on whenever the moment arises. He can be alarmingly selfish at times (most of them), but can appear to be quite the opposite when fighting for something or someone he cares about. He cannot predict the inevitable, but has learned to accept what he is powerless against and come on top doing everything he can. History: He was heavily victimized during childhood and had a string of bad luck through adolescence and early adult hood. He was recruited and trained by the Paladins from the age of ten. He recently graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a business degree, and recently immigrated to Japan on "business."
Named him.

Paladins The former Knight Templar organization know called the Paladins are a group formed under the church. Despite the cover they uphold, the Paladins aren't the goody-two-shoes most would believed. Under the protection of the church, the former knight templers still unleash mayhem on those who don't follow Christianity. It would seem further the Paladin order stretches from Rome, the less evil their agents are in sense of zealous and religious insanity. In Japan, zealous behavior isn't as potent as those in Rome, but traces of it still remain. While the Paladins hated the Damned and undead they don't rule it out as a weapon. They use them to help there agents train against the Damned or even use them against other undead. Historical name: Knightâs Templers. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knights_TemplarDeath knights Mysterious and dark organization in contrast to the Paladins. They believed the God of death would help bring forward the Golden Age believed or misunderstood in the Bible. They never allowed anything to stand in there way and even committed mass genocides to achieve their aim. Most members are recruited in a similar way to the paladins, but they are often taken or kidnapped rather then recruited the fair way, this is because Paladins have interfered in their recruiting efforts. Most members are left in the dark and this fact has caused many good people to join their ranks not knowing or understanding if their motives are good or bad. Which is a similar situation with the paladins who hide behind the protection of the church. Unlike the paladins, these guys are masterful when it comes to summoning the undead and supernatural creatures, they also not afraid to get things done with the most horrid creatures imagined. Historical name: Marwolaeth Knights

You know what. Screw it. You'll have to find out the true nature of both groups yourself.
Ask npcs and officials in the rp to find out the history of both sides. I always give my best out in character.

Considering the age of our characters, especially the ones who joined as pubescents, we should probably already have some idea.

We have all the time to talk. After all, Wolfie doesn't start this RP for a week.

Kind of tough to not know about them when it's been almost 30 years that Kael has been with them.

I love everything. It just so happens that I simply deal with what's being given to me.
Sometimes I would've just loved to be neutral in all this, since I got no purpose in both groups.

I suspect Oracle has a good idea too. Though she has her own goals. Hell, no one remembers much except she's just seems to always have been a Deathknight. The fun of selling your past.
