I answered this question before. It takes a motivate, the right trigger and the right situation to activate your rune. It verys on the person.

*varies.

Okay. Then why do you still need those magic sticks? Shouldn't you atleast have good control over what little you have?

It's like getting water out of a sealed bottle with a premature rune. The magic sticks which you call creates a hole to allow the magic through more efficiently. Those who went to get training are given 'magic sticks' to practice spells until they can unlock their rune.

I however inherited mine.

Premature rune: This happens when the right triggered isn’t found to awaken the user’s magical potential. The trigger may differ and probably relate to the type of the rune symbol. You can only cast weak spells in this form, anything more advance will not work and will make you tired fast if you try.

Immature rune? Probably is when the person with said rune has never cast any magic at all. Even with the use of 'magic sticks' Premature shows that the user has infact used magic but doesn't have the right moment or trigger to activate the full power of the rune.

In short I may not have the magic to back me up at the moment, I do however have the training.

He cancels magic in a RP about spell casters, has superhuman reflexes, and has all sorts of nasty spells.
Considering what we're up against, we'll need someone stronger(especially if Lara and Wolfie play as children), even if the character is broken.

Bring it on Edd.

It wasn't that you were teenagers, it was that you seemed to be more like liabilities rather than assets in a fight.

Note to self. Be a bad ass straight away and not roleplaying a character to grow into one.

Your sarcasm is refreshing. Having room to grow into a badass is one thing, but you still need to be able to fight roughly on par with the opposition. Or it could be that you have power to fight, but you still have to struggle. Take a look at my old character for this RP. He was an enchanter who could potentially make anything deadly. So what were his weapons? A wrench, a flashlight, and a butterfly net. And you know what, he made them into weapons of their own. It's all a matter of how you portray yourself as still developing.

I didn't even get the chance. I got off the train then it died due to forum arguments.
You know how I've roleplayed recently with Jake and Wolfie, I can say I've approached my handling of characters differently then LPF.
