So you may likely not remember about Runelords. Well if you do I was hoping if you guys want to help me with something. Really the point of this RP if you call it is just really to wage war without a set story. It's just really to determine who wins the historical fights between the Paladin and the Deathknights. So how does it go down? Simple I will provide information leading up to each war. Which so you can base your character on. Just to remember each war will need a different character. It will be in a set area like a city which will literally be your battlefield. Each war will end with one left standing or if you manage to end in another way. The winner will be crowned RuneLord. More stuff included. You don't really need to join but if you want I thought it be fun to have some upfront pvp fights. These characters you choose in these wars can be the ancestors of your main Runelord characters. Or related in some manner maybe teacher. Now here's the catch while there isn't really going to be a story involved, which is really being left up to me too to create them based around these fights. Well unless you want to be involved in the story bit then be my guest. Just to give you an idea of each war settings it will be in different time periods. The First one is obviously the origins of the conflict and will be set in the Crusader Era. In this one the both organisations will be known as the historical names. Knight's Templer's for example. The 2nd one will be during the America's war of Independence which the Knight's Templers are now called Paladins. The other organisation is still their historical name. The third one will be a few years before the main rp's time line. Both organisations will be called as Paladin's and Deathknights. It will involve characters like Grandmaster Tony and if you like child versions or younger of your character for the main rp. There are many more conflicts between the organisations. However these are the biggest three in history. I know a lot of you don't have time. I see this a side project and will be worked on whenever I get time. There really isn't any need to get this completed as a co-op thing as sooner or later if this becomes dead I will complete it myself. If nobody joins I will still do it anyway as it needs to be done. So anybody interested? |

These wars will be known as the three Great wars as of course minor conflicts happen throughout history. Differences between them is that in these three wars the entire organisations erupt into total war. While minor conflicts normally confines a small part of both orders in combat. The First Great war will have origins from the First crusade and probably erupt during the Fall of Jerusalem at the end of the Second Crusade. Richard the Lion Heart will feature near the climax of the war and is actually a Rune wielder himself. Other historical figures will probably feature as Rune wielders for my amusement. The 2nd Great War will be around the America's Independence War. Not entirely sure for now but it's being worked on. The 3rd Great War isn't really specified yet. I'm debating weather the conflict that happens before the main rp. The Central incident if you remember to be a great war or just a minor conflict. Edited by Masterwolfie, Nov 7 2011, 01:01 AM.

Could be possible for Oracle and Kael to have fought together in the third war. But I'm not entirely sure of wanting to fight some big wars. I've done so in other RPs and it wasn't really something that I've enjoyed. Only good thing I ever done is being the strategist of my side and meeting the ennemy's strategist in the aftermath. You will not actually be fighting the entire war. A lot of it will happen in the background and around you. The idea of this is really to help me create background for RuneLords with some PVP action if you like. Either way I got to do it before the main rp starts. |

I suppose I'll do some bckground action in a war that Kael might be able to participate, most probably the third. He's a strategist, not a warrior, only his undead makes the difference. |

I have characters for the first and last war depending on when you host this. I only have two weeks of class left before finals. Then I have a month and a half off, which should allow for a quick fighting RP. I have an idea for a 2nd war character but there is still a lot of fleshing out to do. The third was is only 3 years prior to the main RP right, so I could use my main? |

1st will be during the Crusader Era. 2nd will be sometime in 1500 or 1700 not entirely sure as the 1st one develops it may change. May avoid working on that until I finish the first. The third one will start on 31 August 1997. Death of Princess Diana. And end about three years if I recall as you said before the main rp. The third will involve events like the Invasion of Iraq, 9/11, London bombings, Madrid bombings and Sierra Leone Civil war from May 2000 to its end. Of course you will not be part of all of them. But you will have a hand in one or two influencing the background events. This will end in Japan with the Central incident. |

I will try make it historically accurate as possible. But of course its an alternative reality it may be changed for the story. Or it may change depending on player character actions, however it will be really hard to change historical moments. Like the death of Princess Diana. |

I shall prepare the First War soon. So if you want to join it then create a character which would've been around during the time the Templers were first founded. So pretty much during the Crusaders era. |

Name: Cassandra Dubois Age: 24 Gender: Female Rune: StarAllegiance: Death knights Rune Level: Mature Spells and Abilities: Domesticate: Brings wolves and vicious dogs under her control. Call of the forest: attracts all wolves in a 1 kilometer radius. Limitations: Cannot command more than the equivalent of 60 sheep later increased to the equivalent of 120 sheep. Can control up to three wolves directly at a time (all others would need to follow an Alpha) later increased to 5 directly. Feral: Increases the mass of wolves by 10% and makes them much more aggressive but more difficult to control. Alpha mark: Designates one wolf as the Alpha to 3-10 other Wolves. Increases mass by 10% stacks with Feral. *Furor of the bitten: Convinces those bitten by wolves that they have become a werewolf, causes aggression as well as a large strength boost and makes the victim susceptible to domesticate. Polymorph/Polymerization: Turns things into other things/combines things A dog into a wolf Two sheep into a wolf 3 Wolves into a Wolf slightly bigger than a large draft horse 10 horse sized Wolves into one 20ft Wolf. *2 20ft Wolves into one 30ft Wolf. *Tree to Wolf *Self to Wolf- removes magic ability and human intelligence. When transformed all wolves of equal or lesser size will follow her. Can merge with other wolves while casting. Any of the above to the corresponding number of sheep (or dogs if they started as such). Bliss of Ignorance: All summons are immune to square cube law as it has not yet been discovered. Weakness: Relies completely on summons during combat. If a summon created by fusion dies all the parts that made it die. Minions are dangerous and hard to control. Personality: nurturing, need for acceptance, zealous, overprotective. She feels that she has been forced into murder but believes she will be forgiven because of her goals. History: She was born to shepherds and sought to become a nun. She was persecuted and nearly killed by the church after allegations of using the devil's magic. She later swore to destroy the Knights Templar to protect the weak and the innocent. * asterisk indicated the spell is to be learned sometime during the RP. * 20 sheep and 1 dog to start. I've been looking forward to finally use this character again: Name: Madrick BlackLight Age: 21 Gender: Male Appearance: Long straight black hair, red eyes, well muscled body, several scars across the body and face. Heights almost 6 feet and weights 200 lb. Affiliation: Crusader Rune: The Lovers Rune Level: Premature Personnnality: Although often witdrawn from the others, he is a good man to speak to. He believes love and friendship will always help and as long as he believes in that, he will fight and live on to protect those close to him. When someone interrupts him from his daydraming, he greets them with a smile and is nice to others. He enjoy a good conversation once in a while. He has a good sense of honor, and does not fear to risk his life to save others. Weapons: -Shadow Blade: Madrick's greatsword of darkness. It is made of pure obsidian, enchanted as to give it a better edge and make it more durable. Crafted and enchanted by Madrick himself, this sword channels dark and negative energy well. Touch spells can be channelled to the blade instead to add the effect of the spell as well as the natural injuries a sword can inflict. Armor: -Shadow Plate: A full plated armor made of pure obsidian, the same material used for Madrick's sword. It offers good protection and dark energy can easily be channelled through the entire body. It can also absorb darkness energy if it were to make a direct impact on the armor. There are two mechanical features in the armor. First, the armor can split in two but can still remains attached to let Madrick slip easily in his armor. Second, the armor’s left wrist plate can open to let out Madrick's Black Swords technique. Spells & Powers: -Spells: Most of Madrick's spells are two-way. They can afect both the caster as well as other recipients Madricks selects. However, since his rune is still premature, his spells only affects a single target, and most of the time Madrick has no control over them. His rune triggers his powers when strong feelings emerge. Most of those feelings are when someone that Madrick cares is in danger. -Draining Blade: The sword in use, if is a dark channeling weapon, crackles with black negative energy when the spell is used. When an ennemy is struck by the weapon, he becomes suddenly weakened, if not already dead, and the lifeforce he had lost is drained and absorbed by Madrick or someone else designated by Madrick. -Draining Ray: It's the same as the Dark Blade, but it is instead a ray that strikes the target from afar. -Transfer: A tendril of pure darkness shoots out from Madrick's palm and darts straight towards a foe pointed by its caster. When striking a target, it burrows itself in the ennemy and stays there. The tendril transfer mana and lifeforce from the target to Madrick. The other way is also possible. *-Empathic Link: Madrick unites two beings with a spiritual links that binds the two's soul. Whatever one is experienceing, the other experiences it too. When one of the two is targete by either a harmful or helpful spells, the other is affected too. *-Mass Empathic Link: It is the same as Empathic Link, but it affects a group.
