@Leb: Right, I see where this is going. You'll have to fix a reasonable limit to the volume of the object you alter. It would get better the more you train, but the progress is slow seeing as moving a house just by punching it would seem ridiculous and over-powered.

Obviously you would now what my character could do in the character sheet. So just let me know. I'll have to finish first. |

Melani predates monster hunter by several years. She was actually based off a dnd prestige class from a third party group, of interplanar gladiators/taxidermying hunters who track down the biggest and nastiest monsters to steal their powers, and at the end of the year, they meet up in a grand tournament to fight to see who is the best, and the winner is their leader and can command them to their goals until the next year. |

@Ragnorra: That would work just fine. As you said, it's Dark Magic. The power of those objects comes with the challenge of killing those monsters. |

I'm a fighter. Working on sheet still. Just, a fighter that can make it's own rather nasty magical weapons and armor and doodads. This will do. I figure I won't give her too much of her usual load out yet. Be kinda excessive otherwise. That and I'm not entirely sure what the fauna of Terraria is like yet. Name: Melani Race: Half-elf(equal mix) Gender: Female Brotherhood rank: Guardian Member category: Ravager Abilities: Master of a 1000 Blades: Melani is a practitioner of the dark combat art style of the Master of a 1000 blades. By observing creatures in battle, she may learn to adapt her own combat styles in mimicry of them, making her combat style very adaptable. Imbue Strength: Melani is a highly skilled craftswoman, capable of making arms and armor and other equipment from the body parts of countless creatures. These are enhanced by her dark arts to not only be as effective as metallic weapons, but to enchant them with the strength and powers of the creature she took them from. Only one power can be imbued from a creature per object. Modification: Melani experiments extensively with her weaponry and often can make absurd modifications to weapons that work. While one would thing extending the haft of a greatsword to give it a spears reach would make absolutely no sense, somehow Melani makes it work. Melani can, given the time and resources, increase the distance of weaponries reach, attach hooks to make it easy to trip enemies, make the blade razor thin to make very grievous accurate wounds, and various other strange modifications. Forge of Battle: Melani is very strong and well trained in using the body parts of others as effective weaponry as much as intimidation. Ripping a mans leg off and beating his allies to death with it is a strangely effective yet delightful past time for her. She'd use her own arm, but no ones taken it off her yet. Equipment: Modified Full Plate: This heavy armor is covered in the thick heavy hide and bones of some beasts, giving it an disturbing and otherworldly look. The extra hide provides even more defense to the armor. While most would collapse under the extra weight, Melani has trained to disperse it to easily compensate the excess. Deathblade: Melani has taken a greatsword made from sharpening the armbones of some great desert beast to a rather nasty looking blade, and then lengthened it's hilt extensively to give her increased reach with it. An awkward looking weapon, but it's hard to argue against the results. Serpent Gauntlets: Melani has built the bones of some large venomous snake into a set of gauntlets, with the fangs studded into the knuckles. She can inject poison by punching the sharp thin fangs into her enemy. The venom causes numbing and eventual paralysis with enough doses. Longbow: Melani uses a unusually normal longbow. when asked, she says she hasn't yet found a creature that suits it yet. And then asks if they think their tendons would be suitable as bow strings. Most people leave quickly after that. Edited by Ragnorra, Jan 18 2012, 02:52 AM.

Seems good. I assume you have some contacts in the Brotherhood with whom you went to hunt for dangerous creatures? And your division would be Ravager. |

Ah ravager it is then Probably has contacts with many groups. she's not entirely sane by any means but she follows the rules. Though she keeps arguing that logically she shouldn't be punished for killing one of them because they broke the rules first by dying. Not that she has acted on it. She's a hunter and she happily will kill any monster. She finds the other races boring prey, besides dragons and demons and werefolk, so generally doesn;t bother with them unless they get in her way. |

Killing a member of the Brotherhood results in exiled from the Brotherhood and turned over to the authorities, just so you know. |

Yes I know. Hence why she hasn't tried. It's in her best interest not to. She just likes making them squirm. |

Master of Disguise. Possibly a Doppelgänger.

Obvious solution to my skills, there's little point trying to use either skill to targets that have more mass than a human being(target being may vary in their point). The larger the target, the more it takes to envelop 'em in a magic field and the whole thing takes so much out of the caster with insanely large targets that it's useless, not to mention the effect ending immediately upon hitting the fatique level or losing consciousness. EDIT: Also, I thought about the right hand skill. Let's say it doubles every 10 seconds. That way, max speed at the end of the skill is 64 mph. Edited by Leb, Jan 18 2012, 11:58 AM.

I've changed the base for my character, but I need some info first. I'm going for somewhat of a summoner type which can summon a 'golem' of every type of element. Technically, they aren't really golems but more like intelligent spells. Anyway, each element could be used to summon either a golem of that element or a weapon of that element for a total of 8 golems and 8 weapons. The restriction would be to use 2 elements at one time. Would that be within the boundaries? Edited by BeastWarrior Nocturne, Jan 18 2012, 02:33 PM.

The "Golems" you refer to are called "Elementals". But yes, it works fine. @Leb: Problem solved that way. Either ways, the one spinning should be completly messed up after he stopped. Edited by Riffus Maximus, Jan 18 2012, 05:26 PM.
