All I have to go on to calculate an age for elves is that they can live to a thousand years. So every hundred years is ten years in human age. So it would make me 320 years old. Good age I will say and good idea to develop an idea or an immortal assassin. Well the idea of one not literally. Edited by Masterwolfie, Jan 19 2012, 02:42 PM.

Even if they lived like that, their stages of life would not be "stretched out" to match human stages in comparison. It's far more likely that both humans and elves grow the same rate at start, and the real difference starts when humans hit the peak of their ability around, what, 20-25 years? After that it's a slow decline, the elves have the same thing but a loooooot slower, taking centuries to grow old while it takes decades for humans. WHY DID YOU MAKE ME POST THIS |

Humans hit their peak of growth at 19-20 years old in irl. Afterwards you begin to decline, healing rate which a body can recover from injuries and wounds starts to weaken dramatically around the thirties. Which means it takes longer to recover. It's why normally footballers, related sports and soldiers often retire at that age. Ignore that ramble. Anyway. If Humans and elves grow at the start, the same then me being 32 wouldn't make me a child or baby. But Shadow pmed and said Drummy was right and I should be older. So Well. It's not in this world. In kaethos all races except for dragons grow like that at the start. Lara in kaethos is around 20-25 years in body growth and aging circle in comparison to human years. But shes around 200 in actual years. Elves in that world are the most magical sensitive, which means they hold great magical reserves in their body. My theory of age in that world is that magic slows the aging rate down. But it will catch up in the end. It goes further then that but again that's just a theory of how aging works in relative to other species. It's why Kurop live so long and the same with dragons. They're beings of great magical power and Kurop can tap into the Key Lains themselves. Immortality. Elves were once immortal in kaethos. They lost that now but that's a different story. Bah ignore my ramblings. Edited by Masterwolfie, Jan 19 2012, 04:55 PM.

I think Elves have a normal growth compared to humans, it's just that their education is done slower than any others due to the number of years they live. So yeah, an 34 year old elf would look like a young man with a childish attitude. |

Wat. Why would they teach their kids slower? It'd make more sense to teach them at the same rate humans do, they live longer and can keep up their mental abilities far longer. Unless you are implying that all elves are stupid. |

I thought it was just aging related but education related? Can I say I went to boarding school and was taught the same as humans. :/

Perhaps not stupid, but they learn slower. Meaning it takes more time for them to learn something than humans do. |
