Talisman Online manages to be one of the most exciting games we have ever played. All the elements of a typical RPG is there with fraction of the size! And aside from it's small size, the greatest feature of this MMORPG is that it's free.

Graphics - :) :) :) :)

Despite the very small size of TO, the graphics aren't really that bad, in fact it wows us to see great graphics. Well made characters and cool effects make the TO experience like no other. However, the camera won't allow you to view your character in a man's eye view and you can only rotate it as far as a bird would go.

Sounds - :) :) :)

Although repetitive at times, TO sounds have it's fair share of good sound effects. The wizard's magic for example, has very engaging sounds. In fact when there's a wizard casting it's magic, it's like being on a war zone. Other significant sounds include the sound of metal when you hit metal enemies in-game which is cool. The music of the game is good but very repetitive.

Gameplay - :) :) :) :)

What we liked about TO is the battle system, entering battles and smashing your enemies with either your weapon or magic is very engaging. TO brings 5 characters to your use, The Monk which is a tanker and a stunner, an Assasin which deals great amount of damage, a wizard which deals a great amount of magic damage and by far the coolest character in the game, the fairy which is the healer and very feminine and finally the tamer, a cross-breed of a summoner and an archer. The gameplay also features different types of weapons. You can choose 1 out of 2 classes of your class which makes up different skill sets. The weapon design excels on TO because we have never seen a wizard's weapon as two flying swords/blades, and we have never seen fairies (healers) wielding globlike weapons flying around them. This adds a very cool factor to the gameplay.

The battle system is also strategic, Monk and assasin classes don't use mana, and instead uses stamina to use skills. Stamina easily recovers overtime but is limited. On the other hand, wizards, fairies and tamers use mana. The attribute points are automatically distributed in-game, but don't let that fool you. There is such a unique build in TO but it won't be on stats, instead it will appear on your talismans (weapon and assistant talisman). Each talisman will grant you different skills, you can upgrade the skill's power by enchancing your talisman through the use of energy (which also plays like experience points but it works for your weapons). The game is centered on the weapons you wield more than what your character can do.

Another significant features of TO are the pet system, guilds, wars, parties (which teamwork really plays it role), dungeon hunts, dozens of bosses, multiple ways to upgrade your weapon (identifying, upgrading, soul infusion and combining) and the training system is improved by doing quests (which is very abundant in the game).

Lifespan - :) :) :) :) :)

Once you play, you will get hooked. Quest on certain levels will give you rewards like a new pet or a new mount (tiger which you can ride to run faster). You'll spend hours trying to find the best items through boss hunts and the scenario quests will keep your experience advancing significantly.

Overall - :) :) :) :)

There's not much TO can offer that has been done before, but for it's small size and the fact that it's free, makes it a worthy game to try.
