Ryan has some trouble with the tamer adjustment. I'll just calculate the damage and the possible combo with the new tamer adjustment. For this calculation let's assume that rapid shoot damages 250 while power shoot damages 500. ======COMBO 1============ Continous rapid shoots [size=7]OLD[/size] (Rapid shoots - No cooldown with 1.5s preparing time) Within 10 seconds he would damage the enemy 1500 damage [size=7]NEW[/size] Instant release with 2.5 second cooldown Within 10 seconds he would damage the enemy 1000 damage (500 less) =========COMBO 2==================== power shoot, rapid shoot, rapid shoot, rapid shoot, power shoot (for the old patch: last power shoot not possible within 10 seconds so it's replaced by rapid shoot) [size=7]OLD[/size] Within 10 seconds he would damage the enemy 1500 damage sec - total damage - attack done 3- 500 - PS 4.5 - 750- RS 6 - 1000 - RS 7.5 - 1250 - RS 10 - 1500 - RS [size=7]NEW[/size] Using same combo # 2 - (including normals - 1 sec = 50 damage) sec - total damage - attack done 1 - 0 - charging PS 1.5- 750 - PS + RS 2.5- 800 - normal 3.5- 850 - normal 4.5- 1100 - RS 5.5- 1150 - normal 6.5 - 1150 - charging PS 8 - 1900 - PS + RS 9 - 1950 - normal 10 - 2000 - normal deals 2000 damage in 10 seconds (500 more than old patch combo 2) COMPARISON combo 1 old (1,500) = combo 2 old (1,500) combo 1 old (1,500) > combo 1 new (1,000) combo 1 old (1,500) < combo 2 new (2,000) combo 2 old (1,500) < combo 2 new (2,000) combo 1 new (1,000)< combo 2 new (2,000) So overall combo 2 new wins it =P Meaning the new patch will deal stronger damage. Even if you remove the normal attacks (which I know is just my guess), the result would still be 1,750. The cooldown time maybe longer but the rapid release of the spells is much more than the cooldown. In fact if you calculate RAPID SHOOT minus 1.5 preparing time plus 2.5 cooling time +1.5 (which is bad) time gained POWER SHOOT minus 1.5 cooling time -1.5 time lost SO YOU LOST NOTHING. Basically, the server just wants tamers to use the power shot more often. "Tamer players can make the best of these new changes to combine their advantages to have the best effect of killing in the shortest time." I won't argue about your stun, it's another story and I know ryan and me will have a long discussion about the stun. lol |

You forgot that Power Shoot has a 5 second cool-down: ![]() ... and that Rapid Shoot has just 1s prep time with the skill for it maxed. bottomline: ![]() :angry: |
