Mitsuki's face flushed from behind the geography textbook. I can't believe I went on like that in public. I don't want to get picked on again. Mitsuki glanced around the library, thankfully taking note that no one seemed to be paying attention to her and Ayano. Mitsuki then piped up again, but was speaking much quieter this time.

"Those were not the only two books that she wrote, just the most famous ones." Mitsuki pulled the textbook higher over her face, hiding it and muffling her voice a little. She then heard Ayano's sigh and her comment about her mother. I wonder what's that about. There isn't really a good way to broach that subject, and I think I've embarrassed myself enough today.

"I will tell you about her other books some other time when I have had some time to refresh myself on their plots," Mitsuki states with a slight tinge of embarrassment in her voice. "For the meantime though, I am going to get back to studying." Mitsuki relaxes her grip on the geography textbook, letting fall at an angle rather than being held vertically in front of her face, and Mitsuki lapsed into a comfortable silence as she read it.

"I see." Ayano replied when Mitsuki said that the two books she mentioned that her mother wrote were the most well known ones, there were others but Mitsuki wanted to focus on her studying first before she can Ayano more. "Oh sure, we can talk about your mother's books another time. Studying is more important, especially with that exam coming up that secretly makes me want to scream just by thinking about it." Ayano cajoled as she opened her book again, reading it again as she realized that most of her college life will most likely be her in her dorm room studying.

"You a bit worried about the exam by the way?" Ayano asked her friend, flicking a page in her new book. She looked very focused on the book once more but was offering to talk to Mitsuki while she was quietly studying beside her about geographic things, that will most likely be in the upcoming exam.

Mitsuki shruged at Ayano's question. "I am not too worried about the exam myself. I have not ever had trouble with exams." Mitsuki brushed her hair behind her ear as she turned the page of the geography textbook. She then hummed a little bit as she scanned the text, studying the facts. "Though if you are that worried about the exam, my offer to study together is still open. Otherwise, I am going to focus on my own studying."

"Oh, ok." Ayano replied when Mitsuki said that she was going to study for the rest of the afternoon and since it seems she didn't want to talk anymore, it was about time Ayano started her journey back home. She checked the time and realised it was almost half four, she turned her smartphone off again, stood up and looked back at Mitsuki. "I might actually head home early and study there since it will be quieter and less distracting." Ayano said cheerfully as she held Spiral tightly near her stomach.

"See you tomorrow Mitsuki-chan, hope both of us pass our exam when that day finally arrives?" Ayano asked as she slowly moved backward towards the main desk of the library.

Mitsuki smiled as Ayano got up. "Alright, you have good luck with your own studies. And yes, I too hope that we will pass the exam. We can probably talk some more tomorrow." Saying this, Mitsuki returned her attention to her own textbook, a faint smile still remaining on her face as Ayano walked away.
