A Yacht docked at the harbor, and from it, men it black suits, dark shades and headset on began to unload boxes and plants from the storage part of the boat, while a young woman, dressed in a red and black dress, stepped down from the main deck, before turning to face the sea, and stretching. Sylvia had arrived, several months after her father had set up a new store in the commercial district; Forest Couture, a very expensive, high fashion clothing store. Sylvia was moving in to her new manor in the Floria district, an old building that had been touched up to give new life. |

The Numara Harbor sees many ships each day, but yachts and formally dressed deckhands tend to draw crowds. In the small group of people watching the yacht be unloaded and hoping to catch a glimpse of something that might tell them where all these plants and crates might be going, a man of astonishing height sticks out like a sore thumb. The man is nearly seven feet tall and about half as broad with dark brown skin and slicked back sun-bleached blonde hair. The man gazes at the deckhands and the young woman that had just gotten off the ship with some amount of curiosity. His gaze, much like his features, is harsh, as though the sun had been focused through a magnifying glass. His clothing, however, sends an entirely different signal. The man is wearing a button up Hawaiian shirt (Buttons not quite holding out against his chest) and a pair of cargo shorts with some sandals to protect his feet. This man had been walking around the harbor looking at various ships and, until now, Ulysses had found little of interest. |

While the boxes and plants were loaded onto a truck; one that was also riding in the yacht below deck, another person exited from above deck, someone with green hair a sunhat, and a very unique looking green yukata of sorts, who stood not much taller than 5 feet. "My lady, it would seem we have a lot of attention here. Perhaps we should wait inside until they are ready to take us to the Manor." The white haired girl who had exited before quickly signed a message to the green haired woman. [Let them look, beauty is rare, and I have plenty.] "If you insist, my Lady." The woman said. Three of the suited men began to make their way to the crowd, motioning to make way for the truck and to move along. |

Ulysses looks at the two women on the deck, their vibrant hair had drawn his attention. He is too far away to hear what they are saying, but even at this distance he can make out the white haired girl's signing. His eyesight had always been strong, and he'd learned a few versions of sign language and a significant number of spoken languages from his days at "the academy." He chuckles a bit at the overall message he gets from her signing, but his attention is quickly drawn away by activity near him, he'd become distracted and the crowd around him had already cleared. He is left standing there with several men trying to tell him to move out of the way. Ulysses looks down from his personal tower of a body at the men asking him to move. His glare could melt an iceberg. He speaks in a deep gravelly voice, "My apologies." With that, he calmly makes his way towards where the other people in the crowd had gone.

Once everyone was safely out of the way, the truck drove down the dock and onto the road, where it then made it's way out of sight. The men went back to the ship, and stood watch, while Sylvia made her way down the dock halfways, taking a look at the harbor. The green haired woman followed behind her. "It's a very nice city, it would seem." She said, while Sylvia replied, again, with sign language. [Yes, it should be. My father wouldn't send me somewhere bad. I hear the Manor is very nice] |

"In for a penny, in for a dime," he mutters. Ulysses' curiosity has gotten the better of him, and so he eavesdrops on the girl's conversation again. They are still out of earshot, but he can see the white haired girl's signing from here. He has begun piecing together who these girls are and why they are here, and why they have such a nice yacht. He thinks to himself 'It makes sense that one of them would have a wealthy parent. I wonder what their relationship to each other is if they aren't siblings.' The giant of a man has positioned himself squarely at the front of the still parted crowd, and the people behind him, who are just as curious, have moved away from him, creating a column of empty space behind him. He really does stand out in a crowd. Ulysses looks down at one of the men in suits that are busying themselves with the various objects being brought out from the boat. "Excuse me, who are the owners of this vessel?" He gestures at the yacht the girls are standing on.

"Lady Sylvia Forest, and her friend, 'S.P.'. She's moving here from England, somethin' about a new business venture run by her father. ... Roger. We're kinda behind schedule, we gotta move all these plants to the Manor..." He said, as he then shuffled along with large vase with a snake-plant in it. "And when we get to the Manor, I'll prepare us some tea. A low stress environment and aromatic tea should help you adjust do your new environment." The green haired one, S.P. said, followed by Sylvia's response. [Yes, perhaps something caffinated; I am somewhat tired from the long trip.] |

"England..." Ulysses looks away from the retreating worker and turns his attention back to the girls. "Certainly explains the lavish clothes and ship..." he mutters to himself. He wonders how old these girls are, and what this business venture is. The girls look pretty young to be traveling without their parents. But tycoons and their ilk tend to be pretty different when it comes to that sort of thing, at least, he thinks so. 'And it isn't as though they are traveling alone,' he muses 'all these workmen and plants and things... they count I suppose.' He is snapped out of his thoughts as his eyes catch the white haired girl, Sylvia Forest, signing to her friend. Their conversation seems pretty mundane, it makes him glad to a certain extent, that even though she is living this sort of lifestyle, she seems pretty normal. He shakes his head a little, it isn't as though he is their guardian or anything, why should he care whether or not they are spoiled? Maybe it's just the principle of the thing, rather then the actual value of it. |

"Then I shall brew you a white tea when we arrive at the manor. The moving car should be arriving shortly." She continued on. [You are a very kind friend. To think that the card I coveted back in the orphanage would one day become my best friend. Together, we'll surely bring true beauty to this land] She signed, as she then let out a silent laugh, holding her hand up to her mouth. Shortly after, a white Cadillac truck would arrive at the dock.

Ulysses blinks, rubs his eyes, and then blinks some more. Did he read those signs right? Orphanage? Cards becoming best friends? What did that even mean? He shakes his head slowly, surely it was just the words of a child playing a game. Kids pretended all sorts of bizarre things and these two had been on a boat for a while, surely they'd gotten bored and just come up with stories, or an inside joke that he didn't understand. He shrugs it all off as the white Cadillac pulls up. The crowd around him was beginning to disperse, but Ulysses stays. These girls were strange, and his curiosity isn't satisfied just yet. |
