Ket found himself among unfamiliar surroundings, as he did more often than not. After stepping through an in-ground arch with a descending walkway, Ket was startled to see that the city was no longer in control. Instead, this subterranean world was overgrown with beautiful vines and shrubs, with dark but majestic flowers as far as the eye could see.
Along the ceiling were balls of glowing light. They were bright white orbs, but their feeling on his flesh were like a thousand tiny suns.
A shallow stream of water ran along the floor, showing no mercy to the boots of those who would walk through it. Fortunately, Ket couldn't remember the last time he had worn shoes. The water was of no consequence to his bare feet, and in fact, it was quite a cool and relaxing sensation. The small pebbles on the bottom of the stream were no match for the thick callouses on the bottoms of Ket's feet.

As he walked through the dark tunnel, his blank white eyes seemed to glow brighter, a cool yellow color. Ket looked about, carefully observing his surroundings. In the bushes, he saw many snakes and lizards attempting to stay hidden, while still staying as close as possible to the only sources of warmth in this underground world.

After what must have been forty minutes of walking, Ket came to a branching section of tunnel. To the left, the tunnel appeared to go on indefinitely. As he approached the fork, several small animals turned and ran down the left tunnel, indicating that there was no nearby habitation. To the right, however, the light and warmth seemed to grow much stronger around the first bend. Ket followed this trail.

As he rounded the bend, what he saw amazed him. A great ball of light, much like the small ones, though a hundred times the size, clung to the highest point of the ceiling in a large central room. This room had at least twenty more tunnels converging on its location. There were full sized trees here, and indeed, this room was its own ecosystem. Ket stood bewildered before heading into the room. As he did, chanting filled his ears.

A group of people sat around a stone altar, their hands raised high into the air as a single figure stood over a lifeless body on the altar. In his hands was a stone knife, perched in the air above the man's chest. Ket did nothing to interfere; he simply watched.
Suddenly, the man dropped the knife, letting it fall from his hands. It tumbled through the air, then landed harmlessly on its side.

"Our guest has interrupted the ritual." The man who had held the blade said.

"I am not here to interrupt." Said Ket, raising his hand and gesturing to the victim. "Please, continue."

"Why? So that you may return to the surface dwellers and tell them of our dark rituals? Of our barbaric ways?"

"You take me for someone who finds his own way of life better than others. Your rituals are of no concern to me, Golgari. I am here because I seek someone."

Suddenly, the Golgari who had been seated on the ground stood, their chanting continuing. They turned to face Ket.

"You will not have who you seek." Said the leader as the Golgari began to step forward.

Ket roared as his eyes began to glow a fiery orange.

As the last of the Golgari charged Ket, he spun sharply, swinging his grappling hook far behind the attacker in a crescent shaped toss. He then quickly jerked the chain, causing it to wrap around him. He stepped in close to the attacker as he was bound by the chain. He threw a sharp punch with his free hand, which was cloaked in a thick wooden armor riddled with great thorns.

The Golgari was rendered unconscious by the strike, his head snapping back violently. Slowly, he slinked onto the floor.

The undercity of Ravnica was unusually quiet for this time of day. A cloaked man stood with his back to an alley wall, his hood up, listening to the few whispers he could hear from the merchants and mercenaries in the area. The man checked the watch in his hand. His client was late.

Suddenly, there was a bright flash of light. Blinded momentarily, the man stepped back, shielding his eyes with one hand, gripping his dagger with the other. Once his vision had returned, he found himself looking up an armor clad man. It was obvious this man was not from Ravnica, and was the client he'd been waiting on.

"You must be the Blood Knight," the cloaked man said.

Gileresta looked down at the him, silent for a moment. "And you must be my contact from the guild," he replied, his words smooth and charismatic. It was strange to Gileresta to see a man of such stature standing before him. He'd never met a man under four-foot tall before.

The man nodded, producing a scroll from beneath his cloak. Gileresta took the scroll, opening it slowly. Immediately, the scroll began to glow brightly. After a few moments of this, the light faded, and the scroll crumbled. Gileresta shook his head and blinked several times. The spell cast on the scroll had transmitted all the information of his job directly into his mind. He wasn't sure how he felt about the way the Dimir exchanged information, but it was certainly efficient, and a good way to keep information out of enemy ears.

"Thank you, I'll be going now, " Gileresta said, as he stepped past the man. After he'd stepped from the alley way, he turned back to him. "oh yes, " he said in a bored manner before snapping his fingers in the cloaked man's direction. Immediately, several tendrils of black mana pierced his chest, killing him before he could scream.

----------------------

Gileresta made his way through the undercity at a brisk pace. Normally, he'd try not to bring attention to himself, but his black and red armor made that impossible as it were. As he walked, he processed the information he had been given.

1. His target was a Planeswalker.

2. The Dimir wanted him alive.

3. There were rumors that the Orzhov had also hired someone to track the target and kill him.

4. The other hunter was also likely to be a Planeswalker.

Three Planeswalkers on the plane of Ravnica, caught up in the game of the Guilds. Gileresta smiled deviously as he thought of fighting another Walker. It had been too long.

Suddenly, the Iron clad man stopped as he inhaled a stench he had never experienced before; at least, not on Ravnica. Turning slowly, he closed his eyes and sniffed the air again, focusing mana to his nose so as to enhance his abilities.

"Ah, there it is, " he thought as be began to follow the smell down a dark alleyway and into a large man-made tunnel. As he stepped into the tunnel, he noted the water running through it. Luckily, the bottoms of his boots were made of steel, he was able to ignore the stream for the most part.

It wouldn't take him long to reach the fork in the tunnel, his average moment speed twice that of a normal human. Once he'd reached the crossroad, Gileresta sniffed the air again, trying to pick up the scent of the person he'd been following once again. However, before he could determine which direction to go, he heard a commotion coming from one side.

Moving quickly towards the sound, Gileresta would find himself standing on the edge of a dimly lit room, watching as a large man smashed the head of amother who was wrapped in chains. Looking at the assailant, there was no doubt about it; he was a Planeswalker.

Stepping from the shadows of the tunnel and into the room, Gileresta began to clap slowly. "Bravo, bravo," he said loudly, the clapping as well as his voice echoing within the room. "You must be the one the Orzhov hired to track our little friend. I am truly impressed by the way you beat these Golgari heathens into the ground, but do tell me, how do you plan to get information from them if they are dead or incapacitated?" Gileresta stood there, blocking the door with a smirk on his face, waiting for an answer.

(Shitty post quality is shitty, it's been awhile.)

Ket was silent as the man behind him spoke. Ket had heard him approaching long before, even over the sounds of combat. His heavy metallic armor and brisk walking pace making it almost impossible to not sense him.
Ket stood with his back to the man, his posture seemingly relaxed. He held on to the chain of his grappling hook, pulling it upwards and wrapping it around his arm. As he did, the Golgari on the ground rolled in slow circles as the chains around him were unwound. Finally, the weapon came loose, and Ket held the hook firmly in his hand. He looked at the leader of the Golgari, who had not moved from his position, instead relying on his followers to fight for him.

"These aren't the ones I'd planned on speaking with..." Said Ket.

He slowly stepped toward the Golgari priest, then fell into a jog. The jog became a sprint, and he hurled his weapon at the priest. The priest raised his hand, blocking the incoming hook. It still managed to cause a large open wound, which the priest ignored.

As Ket grew closer, the priest raised his hands. Out of the ground before Ket arose a grand beast. It was a baloth, with sickly blue skin and no eyes. It let out a shriek as Ket drew closer to the priest. He quickly withdrew his chain, and wrapped it around his forearm as the hook flew through the air. It met with the Baloth's neck as it charged Ket. Ket quickly manipulated the weapon, causing it to wrap around the Baloth's neck. The Baloth came closer to Ket now, the teeth in its fearsome maw only inches from his face. Still, Ket was calm. He reached out, taking hold of the chain around the beast's neck. He then spun, snapping the creature's neck, and hurling its corpse. He continued his spin and swung the beast through the air, then hurled it at the priest. The Baloth landed upon him, tossing him to the side like a child's toy.

Ket stopped, his heavy breathing the only motion his body carried out. He focused intently, drawing himself back from the bestial side that he had just unleashed. After a moment, he looked up to see the priest pinned against a nearby tree, the Baloth's corpse trapping his crippled arms at his sides. He cried out in pain as Ket grew closer.

"Perhaps now you'll be more open to my questions." Ket said as he leaned in close to the priest.
