I don't know what to say except that I disagree with your conclusion here. If people want to lynch for information and that's the whole reason then that's something to analyze in itself.

But that's also mostly beside the point. I'm saying that we should try to find a valid suspect, pursue him or her and eventually possibly lynch them. The people responsible for the lynch will provide reasons for voting and it will not just be 'looking for information.' I don't think you can disagree with that but your whole attitude makes me feel like you're not even willing to try to look for scum today.

Very well, and who's a valid suspect in your opinion?

Because everything I've read from the pro lynch faction is "we must get a lynch today at any cost, even if we don't have a strong case against anyone". And quite honestly, other than innactivity, I don't see any of you trying to expand on those possibilities and building a case for any other player.

Are you really all waiting to see if Guilmon/his substitute shows up to turn your attention to someone else?
Don't you think that's just time wasting? If he indeed shows up what's your backup plan?

You accuse me of not trying to find scum today, but the three of you seem over reliant on Guilmon's absence to justify a lynch.

@Astro Boy: You said that those that jumped at the first opportunity of a lynch made you wary (post #65) but really didn't follow up on it.
Shouldn't you be trying to understand their reasons or confront them?

@Kakashi: If Guilmon/replacement shows up, what course of action do you think we should take?

@Sakuragi: Some people seem to be waiting for Guilmon to show up (or definitly not) before contributing more to the discussion.
What is your opinion about this?

So it's a reading comprehension issue then. I clarified earlier to you today that activity and inactivity has always been a factor in determining a possible lynch, not just lynching anything and anyone.

At least for myself, others can speak for themselves.

determining a possible lynch on D1 that is. To be specific. Assuming the absence of scummy behavior.

What is your opinion about this?
Well, I very much agree with those who don't want to lynch Charizard Ripoff, because it basically serves nothing. I don't really care whether or not he shows up; him dying due to inactivity isn't gonna solve anything unless we really luck out. Just is more likely to create less town and a greater percentage of mafia (whoa, where'd I get all this math from?)

And really, CR is pretty much all we can talk about as nothing has happened and otherwise people can only shoot into thin air. So, to be more decisive about his fate:

I seem to have been mistaken for Pompadour Lord. In case my vote didn't count as a result:

I've been trying to keep a conversation going and I've mostly ignored Guilmon the whole day. I don't know why you would accuse me of waiting for him. That would indeed be lazy. So let's check who did that then.

Astro Boy: In his one post he asked the mods to take care of the inactive player and that's about it
Dandy: Has been active independant from the issue Guilmon
Dr. Tenma: Similar to Dandy
Edward Weevil: Every post has been about Guilmon
Guilmon: still missing
Hanamichi Sakuragi: Every post was about Guilmon; took a clear stance on a No Lynch
Isaac Dian: Wants to wait for Guilmon to show
Kakashi Hatake: One inconsequential post about Guilmon
Lelouch vi Britannia: His vote on Guilmon has been adamant so him just talking about that is acceptable to me
Mimi: Exploring other avenues
Pappug: First post to vote Guilmon, another post to answer a question. That's all
Yoshikage Kira: Wants to wait for Guilmon to show but has been talkative in the meantime
Yuuki Rito: Not much of anything yet but hopefully that will change

The five marked people stand out to me here. All of them were fine with just letting time pass while waiting for Guilmon to show (or not). That is not proper time management.

So after all of that, there's about half a day left and Guilmon still hasn't shown. I will not be present for the majority of the remaining day so I will just go for it now:

Vote Lynch: Guilmon

Because getting rid of an inactive player needs to happen early if at all.
