The next morning, feeling a bit bad that they'd killed one of the 11 innocent adventurers, but still satisfied to at least have gotten rid of the dead weight, 12 of the team members woke up and exited the building to join their beloved "mods." Looking forward to a new day of learning about their new planet, with some terrorist hunting definitely actually being the main goal on the side, it took them a little while to notice that there were, in fact, only 12 of them besides the mods.

It was their smallest crewmember, Pappug (though smallest only in size, certainly not in heart), who was gone. After searching the area in teams, the mod-team of Hinata and Pariston found, in a nearby pond, a starfish-skeleton, a certain stylish hat, and quite a lot of blood in the water. He (or at least, most of him) had been eaten by a large, carnivorous water-creature, much larger than him and clearly indigenous to Rakuen.
Spoiler: click to toggle

The 12 remaining explorers could only exchange glances of fear. Pappug had to have known better than to enter a pool where such predators roamed. It was almost as if him ending up there wasn't an accident...as if it were arranged by someone who'd wanted to make sure he properly died...someone like the terrorists haunting the group.

Disgusted and furious at the poor starfish's brutal end, the remaining crewmembers vowed to avenge his death by finding his killers...though three of them inwardly chuckled, vowing to wreak more havoc as soon as they got the chance.

It is now Day 2. You have up to 48 hours to achieve a lynch. With 12 players left, it takes 7 to lynch.

So they went for a less active player anyway.

Papugg had 2 posts. First is him putting the second vote on Guilmon. Second is him saying that lynching is preferable to no-lynching, given the majority-Vanilla setup we have.

Unfortunately I don't see much to analyze here.
Looks like the mafia is playing it safe by going after the people who don't say or interact much. I suggest we don't give them this opportunity.

Not a very "readable" kill.

Mafia played safe by killing a player that took a stance but didn´t get much into arguments.

@Sakuragi: You adopted a defensive, but understandable stance last Day with the no lynch vote.
What do you think of Pappug Night kill?

@Kakashi: Can you re-explain the purpose of your vote on Weevil?

@Isaac: If I accuse you that your vote for no lynch was just a way to take a stance, since by the time you arrived Guilmon was already at L-1 and you didn´t want the burden of hammering him, how would your respond?

@Mimi: Looking back at D1, do you think it was mistake to focus the discussion mainly on Guilmon and what to do with him instead of engaging the remainings players baby?

@Dr. Tenma: There was lack of activity to a certain degree by some of our crewmates. Do you think this was intentional?

What direction would you suggest we take to ensure we don't give them that opportunity exactly?

Interested to hear your ideas.

The discussion yesterday gave me information for sure, and that is something that prevents it from being a mistake.
It does bother me that a lot of people phrased the context of the conversation as applying ONLY to Guilmon, particularly since I made it clear that he wasn't the only individual who was standing out in his absence, and that my goal was to get everyone to talk as much as possible.

There is in fact something related to this that raised flags for me and I aim to bring it up in due time. But if possible I want to observe a little bit more today before deeply engaging myself in back-and-forths.

Not surprised by it at all. I completely forgot Patrick Star existed, and his death was pretty fitting. There are several of us who haven't really taken a huge role and/or made any enemies, myself included, that are still viable targets. So I'd encourage everyone to share your perspectives on the whole matter, so when one of us is taken away the next night, we might get more of a clue as to why they died and who would have any particular reason to kill them.

And due to Patrick Star's death, there's really nothing I can go on or point out that might lead to a justifiable lynch; someone would have to slip up or otherwise convince me to do so. Sucks but better to lose just one townie the next night than having a high likelihood of losing two townies like we just did now.

So you urge everyone to discuss more, so their possible deaths could give us more information. And, in the same breath, you say how clueless you are and that you would not lynch anyone at the moment, without trying to start any discussion yourself. It's like you'd want to fall under the radar.

Well, you can start by answering my question.

So the only way I can start/participate in a discussion is by targeting someone? Rather than talking about the benefits of not lynching with little evidence? I'm not expecting everyone to give a thorough analysis of every other player, and I'm not saying that I'm sticking to this no-lynch position forever. If I study the past few threads and see anything suspicious I'll point it out.

@Pompadour Lord, didn't I answer your question? I gave my thoughts on Patrick Star's death.
