Health and Energy Health and Energy are your Pokemon's stamina. This tells you how long or how tired your Pokemon is. The health and energy are NOT restored at the end of every battle, but instead remain the same. You can also use certain items, potions, restores, to regain some of your Pokemon’s stamina. Otherwise, you’ll need to attend a Pokemon Center frequently. Attacks vary with your Pokemon. Some attacks, such as tackle, pound, etc., use less energy than an attack like Water Gun, Razor Leaf, Ember, etc. But with Razor Leaf and others, when they use more energy, they take away more health. Each attack does not have an exact health and energy depletion. It varies between Pokemon. Example, a Thunder collides with a Hydro Pump. The Thunder attack would deal double damage because the electricity would intensify in the water. This would happen dealing more damage without increasing the energy use. This could overall, change the outcome of a battle. Once after your Pokemon’s health OR energy hits 0, they will faint from exhaustion. There are a couple of methods you could do to regain health or energy. First, is the easiest, visit a Pokemon Center. Second, you could use energy/health items. Ex. Potions, Revives, Ethers, Restores. A final way to restore is to rest overnight. This won’t recover all of it but it will get them back on their feet. Unlike the game, you don’t white out. Energy is always done in percents. Health is done by level. The formula is Level*4+10= Pokemon's HP. Edited by Willer, Jan 28 2009, 05:52 PM.
