Battling Information When in a battle, a Ref will take over and steer the battle. You and your trainer will set the rules and commence the fight. You can make 2 commands per turn, and for 1 turn you can do 3. To use a better example I'll use Bronzor and Koffin. Koffin attempts a tackle. The ref decides it's a hit and deduces 3% due to the fact that it's less effective to Bronzor's steel attribute. Bronzor uses Confusion. It's a clean hit! 42%! Koffin took double damage due to the fact that it's a Poison type. This keeps up until one pokemon reaches 0%. Now keep in mind level does matter. The higher your level, the more HP you have, so the lower you percentage would go down. A Level 20 Koffin vs a level 5 Bronzor would only take about 10% from that confusion. When it's a player vs player battle you battle normally but after each round (Each player gets a turn) the ref will tally up the damage done or attacks that were dodged etc. |
