Pokédex Functions![]() Your Pokédex has several functions. First, this is a new advanced Pokédex, so you can withdraw Pokémon from your PC directly to you. Backdrop is that they are not healed upon delivery. Some downfalls are: -Cannot exceed Pokémon Carrying Capacity of 6 Pokémon -Pokémon are not healed during transfer. So remember to heal your Pokémon once you get to a Pokémon Center -You may lose Connection if you are far away from an access point or are in a remote location. -Service only works within three miles of the nearest Pokémon Center. So before entering a forest, switching in and out Pokémon is a smart idea. Your Pokedex also allows you to check on all your stored Pokemon and where they are stored. It also allows you to see your Pokemon's stats, attacks, and conditions. It has the standard ability to record Pokemon information on the spot and allows you to custimize any Pokemon's page to add your own comments on how to battle it or notes. Another function is that your Pokédex has a wireless trading fuction. Which means you could trade with people within two miles of your Pokédex. Drawback is that it is a lot weaker than transferring it through a PC and that the Pokémon cannot hold items when transferring through the Pokédex. Also the availability may vanish as you lose distance with a wireless spot. But if you are within a few yards, you can trade items with a Pokémon. This is a strict rule the League has instated to encourage Trainer interaction. |
