Swimming and Flying Pokemon

Want to travel from The North to the East? Simple, Fly! Ok Pidgey! Carry me to Cascade Beach! STOP! Unlike the games, the Flying Pokemon must be large and strong enough to carry you. Meaning, you can’t catch a Pidgey, fly to Cascade and release it. You will have to level it up to Pidgeotto or Pidget. Depending on your size, a Pidgeotto could carry you some distance.

Swimming, like flying, is different here. You cannot sit on the back of a Goldeen and ride it across the ocean. You need like a Gyrados or Lapras to accomplish that. But you may use Squirtle to help you swim across rivers and lakes. But I suggest not trying to swim across the ocean with a Squirtle with all the currents and giant waves. You will be face to face with death.
