When you arrive at a city, you have the choice to challenge the Gym in that particular town - but be warned, they are difficult, especially for new trainers. Read up on the information for it, including what type it specializes in, the Pokémon levels, and the prizes. Upon defeating the Gym, you will receive the badge, along with prizes based on the gym. After collecting a certain amount of badges, you will be allowed to challenge the _________. These are the best of the best trainers, specializing in Themes, not types. For example, one might specialize in Underground Pokémon, while the other might take a liking towards Pokémon who live in dark caves.
