These can help you greatly to understand your Pokemon better and it's abilities! #001 Plant/Monster Pokemon (Overgrow) /:Poison Nobody is quite sure what species Bulbusaur is and scientists are still debating. For now bulbasaurs are classified as Plant-Monsters or Plant/Monsters although they are confirmed to be dinosaurs. There is a seed on Bulbasaurs back that grows as it absorbs sunlight #002 Plant/Monster Pokemon (Overgrow) /:Poison There is a bud on this Pokémon's back. To support its weight, Ivysaur's legs and trunk grow thick and strong. If it starts spending more time lying in the sunlight, it's a sign that the bud will bloom into a large flower soon. #003 Plant/Monster Pokemon (Overgrow) /:Poison There is a large flower on Venusaur's back. The flower is said to take on vivid colors if it gets plenty of nutrition and sunlight. The flower's aroma soothes the emotions of people. #004 Lizard Pokemon (Blaze) The flame that burns at the tip of its tail is an indication of its emotions. The flame wavers when Charmander is enjoying itself. If the Pokémon becomes enraged, the flame burns fiercely. #005 Lizard Pokemon (Blaze) Charmeleon mercilessly destroys its foes using its sharp claws. If it encounters a strong foe, it turns aggressive. In this excited state, the flame at the tip of its tail flares with a bluish white color. #006 Flame Pokemon (Blaze) / Charizard flies around the sky in search of powerful opponents. It breathes fire of such great heat that it melts anything. However, it never turns its fiery breath on any opponent weaker than itself. #007 Tiny Turtle Pokemon (Torrent) Squirtle's shell is not merely used for protection. The shell's rounded shape and the grooves on its surface help minimize resistance in water, enabling this Pokémon to swim at high speeds. #008 Turtle Pokemon (Torrent) Its tail is large and covered with a rich, thick fur. The tail becomes increasingly deeper in color as Wartortle ages. The scratches on its shell are evidence of this Pokémon's toughness as a battler. #009 Giant Turtle Pokemon (Torrent) Blastoise has water spouts that protrude from its shell. The water spouts are very accurate. They can shoot bullets of water with enough accuracy to strike empty cans from a distance of over 160 feet. #010 Worm Pokemon (Shield Dust) 'It has a ferocious appetite. It can devour leaves larger than it's body right before your eyes. It's antennas can release a very strong odor.It's small feet are like small suction cups allowing it to scale walls and trees. It's green skin grows and sheds. It uses silk to create a cacoon when evolving.' #011 Cocoon Pokemon (Shed Skin) The shell covering this Pokémon's body is as hard as an iron slab. Metapod does not move very much. It stays still because it is preparing its soft innards for evolution inside the hard shell. #012 Butterfly Pokemon (Compound Eyes) :Bug/:Flying Butterfree has a superior ability to search for delicious honey from flowers. It can even search out, extract, and carry honey from flowers that are blooming over six miles from its nest. #013 Needle Pokemon (Shield Dust) :Bug/:Poison Often found in forests, eating leaves. It has a sharp stinger on its head that injects poison. Weedle has an extremely acute sense of smell. It is capable of distinguishing its favorite kinds of leaves from those it dislikes just by sniffing with its big red proboscis (nose). #014 Cocoon Pokemon (Shed Skin) :Bug/:Poison Kakuna remains virtually immobile as it clings to a tree. However, on the inside, it is extremely busy as it prepares for its coming evolution. This is evident from how hot the shell becomes to the touch. #015 Poison Bee Pokemon (Swarm) :Bug/:Poison Beedrill is extremely territorial. No one should ever approach its nest - this is for their own safety. If angered, they will attack in a furious swarm. #016 Tiny Bird Pokemon (Keen Eye) :Normal/:Flying A common sight in forests and woods Pidgey flaps its wings at ground level to kick up blinding sand. Pidgey has an extremely sharp sense of direction. It is capable of unerringly returning home to its nest, however far it may be removed from its familiar surroundings. #017 Bird Pokemon (Keen Eye) :Normal/:Flying The claws on its feet are well developed. It can carry prey such as an Exeggcute to its nest over 60 miles away. Pidgeotto claims a large area as its own territory. This Pokémon flies around, patrolling its living space. If its territory is violated, it shows no mercy in thoroughly punishing the foe with its sharp claws. Pidgeot #018 Large Bird Pokemon (Keen Eye) This Pokémon has a dazzling plumage of beautifully glossy feathers. Many TRAINERS are captivated by the striking beauty of the feathers on its head, compelling them to choose Pidgeot as their Pokémon. It spreads its gorgeous wings widely to intimidate enemies. It races through the skies at Mach-2 speed. When hunting, it skims the surface of water at high speed to pick off unwary prey such as Magikarp. #33 Poison Pin Pokemon. (Poison Point) 'Nindorino has a horn that's harder than Diamond. When it senses danger, all the bristles on his back tense up, and it challanges the foe with all it's might.It is easily Angered and very aggresive.' #048 Insect Pokemon (Compound Eyes) 'It is said Venonat is evolved with a coat of thin, stiff hair and eyes that never fail to spot things, no matter how small.The eyes work like radars and are able to shoot powerful beams. At night, it is attracted by light.' #074 Rock Pokemon (Sturdy,Rock Head) 'It lives in mountain trails keeping an eye out for trainers. They smash against each other to prove which one is harder.The Longer it lives the more jagged and chipped it's body becomes.It can climb mountain paths by the power of it's arms alone.Most people won't notice, but if you take a good look around you'll find many Geodude in the path' #085 Triple Bird Pokemon (Run Away,Early Bird) 'When Doduo evolves into this odd breed, one of the heads splits into two. It runs at nearly 40 MPH. It also has three heads which represent it's emotions; Joy, Sadness and Anger.' #087 Sea Lion Pokemon. (Thick Fat) 'It loves to sleep in bitterly cold ice.The sight of this pokemon sleeping on a glacier was mistook by a marine man as a mermaid a long time ago. THis pokemon is covered by a cold,white fur. The colder the weather, the more active it becomes.It stores thermal energy in it's body and swims at a steady 8 knots even in intense cold' #133 Evolution Pokemon (Run Away, Adaptability) 'A Pokemon that adapts to harsh enviroments by taking different forms.It is a very rare pokemon who's genetics are irregular making it evolve on different stones and climates.' #196 Sun Pokemon (Syncronize) :Psychich 'It's fur feels like velvet. The orb on it's head glows when it's using Psychic Powers.It is extreamely loyal to a trainer it finds worthy. It will protect the trainer from harm. It can read air currents to predict the opponent's moves and even the weather.' #198 Darkness Pokemon (Super Luck, Isommia) 'Murkrow was feared and loathed for being known as a ill luck pokemon. It shows great intrest in anything that sparkles or shines. If it's being chased, it tries to lure the chaser into a dark mountain so it would get lost.' #270 Weed Pokemon (Swift Swim, Rain Dish) ' It looks like an Aquatic plant and serves as a ferry for pokemon that can't swim. It rarely travel to the land, only to find clean water. If it's broad leaf dies it loses power. If it doesn't drink water for a long time it's leaf dies.' Darkness Pokemon (Keen Eye) 'They live a quite life in dark caves. They are feared because it is said that it steals your spirit when it's eyes glow in the darkness. It deeps into caves with it's sharp claws in search of gem stones for it to eat.' #357 Fruit Pokemon (Solar Powered, Chlorophyll) 'Since it continiously ate a fruit it started to grow on it's neck. The fruits are said to be delicious and a popular snack amount children in the south tropical areas. It flies by flapping it's large leaves like wings.' #361 Snow Hat (Inner Focus) 'In the snow country, certain folklore say that a house with a Snorunt living in it will prosper.In seasons where there are no snow, this Pokemon quietly lives in caves among stalactites and stalagmites.It survives by eating snow and ice.Usually travel in groups of 5. It is said that if they are seen at night, then there will be snow by early morning. It can stand a cold of -150 degress Fahrenheit. #430 Big Boss Pokemon (Super Luck, Insomnia) 'It's active in night and is known to storm towns with gangs of Murkrow. It makes it's Murkrow cronies collect food for it. It idles itself away grooming itself in the nest' #442 Forbidden Pokemon (Pressure) 'A Pokemon formed of 108 Spirits and bound to a fissure in an odd stone for the spirit's Misdeeds'
