Name- Akira Murakami Gender- Male Age- 16 Appearance- Akira stands at an average height of five foot eight inches, with caramel brown and hazel hair. It is lighter up top and down through his bangs, creating a most noticeable contrast. His skin is lightly tanned, but not so dark that he would be described as such. His face, and other visible features carry no identifiable marks or scars.  ( Clothing & Accessories ) Akira wears a small pair of frame less glasses over his sapphire blue eyes. Other clothing and accessories include, a black collar and a sunflower yellow scarf, both worn about his neck. A dark grey jacket (open), and a pale blue short sleeve shirt. On his lower half he wears a pair of jet black pants, and a set of matching black shoes. Characteristics- Akira is a very observant individual, best described as calm and collected. He is the type of person that rarely prefers to follow impulse, over a carefully planned approach. Though that isn't to say that he lacks the ability to have fun, should the opportunity present itself. His natural ability to relax, combined with his high level of social tact make him a very personable and flexible individual, capable of taking most situations in to his own hands. History- As a young boy, Akira learned many things about pokemon by following his parents on trips that they often took abroad. The purpose of these travels wasn't purely for leisure,but rather they were an important part of the work Akira's parents were involved with.In addition to learning many about pekemon, and spending much of his time around them, Akira was also frequently busied by his studies. Just until Akira was fourteen, his mother and father continued to home school him. Of course Akira never had a problem with this. There was always at least a little time to spend with pokemon, and as long as he had that he was happy. Though eventually, Akira's parents were unable to teach him anymore. Their work started to become more and more demanding, and the free time that they had for their son grew smaller and smaller. Concerned for his well being, Akira's parents made the decision to send him overseas to live with his uncle in Tide Port, a relatively new area located in the Aruma region. After leaving his parents, many things changed for Akira. He was no longer surrounded by the pokemon that he loved so much, and without any close friends in Tide Port Akira began to focus more on his studies. Someday he wanted to travel again, and he would be sooner than he thought. On the day of his sixteenth birthday, Akira recieved a piece of priorty mail. According to the return address, the letter had been sent from Kanto. Knowing that it had to be from his parents, Akira rushed up to his room. Inside the letter, there was another small envelope, and a message from both his mother and father. The message went on to talk about how much Akira had grown, and matured in their absence. What he read next was unbelievable. " We think that it's time for you to make a place for yourself. Open the envelope that we've included with this letter. Inside you'll find enclosed a special invitation, entitling you to recieve your very first pokemon. Take care Akira, and be careful. Love always Mom, and Dad."
