Though Orion is filled with mountains both big and small, the most notable ones are the largest, and Shatter Mountain is no exception. It was given this name because of the loud, cacophonic noises a lot of the flying pokemon make when a group of them becomes disturbed by irregular activity. Because parts of the mountain are pockets of large, rounding cavern walls, it echoes and reverberates so violently, it could shatter a person’s eardrums if they were left unprotected and the person doesn’t immediately leave the surrounding area. Apart from this hazard, Shatter Mountain has a variety of large terrain that invites all types of trainers; such as small ponds, dark tunnels, and even spots with open ceilings that allows the rich soil to create small, grassy fields. And the deeper you go, the stronger and more elusive pokemon you’ll find. Due to it’s many different terrains, it’s a coveted location that has every type of pokemon in it.
