Welcome to Pokemon Kingdoms!
Season
Winter

Weather
The first great snowfall of a few days prior has coated the lands in a shining white that many would say is beauty embodied. The trees glimmer and chime with ice on their branches, and the evergreens are more vibrant and lively looking than at any other time in the year. The skies are cloudless, and with nothing to insulate the earth, temperatures drop low enough to be dangerous for long amounts of exposure at night.

The Battle in Belfhaste Harbor is about to commence; all interested parties should report post-haste

The ice that has taken over the water has finally begun to thin; once it has melted entirely, normal naval activity can resume, as most ships are incapable of traversing such dangerous obstacles as enormous hull-piercing shards of ice. Most ships...

Name: Adriel Krane
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Country: Caledonia
Class: Outlaw (Former Vassal)
Liege: None currently. His former liege would be Baren Ludvregen, a knight of Caledonia.
Starting Town: Belfhaste
Chosen Weapon:Longbow
Appearance: [Click For Image]
Personality:
Adriel is what you would call, the outcast or, more so, the forgotten. No morals exist in his life, just to succeed and avenge what grievances were bestowed upon him. His goal throughout the rest of his life is not to take revenge, but to simply right someone's wrong doings. And, he's not afraid to take down anything in front of him to get to his goal. That also means he's not frightened to take down anyone, meaning he's willing to kill for a simple item. Sorrow is something that doesn't take place. Mercy, however, is often allowed. Adriel is a stern young man, proud of his doings, but he does offer pity. He knows what its like to be at the bottom of the pit, but his mercy and pity won't stop him from his wrong deeds.

Adriel's very unaproachable, not because he's a frightening man at his appearance (He in fact is deemed quite handsome among the word of women), but his cold espression turns people off. A stern glance with ice blue eyes that pierce your soul. His voice is no different than any young adult's, but he does seem to have a play on words, often speakin riddles, reciting quotes, or mere words when mixed together sound confusing. But, beyond this still lies the cold, menacing, and forgiving young man that Adriel Krane really is.

Biography:

Born to a knight of Caledonia, Adriel was expected to become a vassal. His mother was a lady of the castle, working with the maids and other women. Life in the castle was different than the average life of the villager. Adriel was expected to have wonderful and polite manners, one of things he retaliated against as a child. Manners included, proper clothing, proper etiquette, and an overall proper lifestyle.

At the young age of 10, Adriel began his practices for knighthood. His schooling transfered to the teachings of horseback riding, fighting with a sword, defending with your shield, etc. Adriel took a great interest in this learning. He proved to be a very skilled fighter, but on his own time, he practiced the art of archery.

Behind schooling was his second favorite thing, Pokemon. These creatures just filled Adriel with life and love, and was truly a wonderful expereince for Adriel. He simply adored these creatures, and he lived at the castle, which was even better. He often payed visits to the garden, where he would play with the many pokemon that inhabited the area. Battling was something, however, he didn't agree with. Pokemon were creatures as well, and shouldn't be forced to battle. A view that remains in his eyes to this day.

At the age of 15, he finally became a vassal to the knight Baren Ludvregen. A choice by his father (Baren was a former colleague of his fathers), which ended up being the worst decision he could ask for. The knight trained Adriel well for three years, in the art of swordfight, pokemon battles (which Adriel developed a deep loathing for), and overall a good persona.

At 18, Adriel experienced the worst day of his life. While deciding to go up to his duty early, he stopped by Ludvregen’s quarters. The knight was busy talking about something important with two men, who Adriel discovered were assassins. There, he found out that his “liege”, conducted the assassination of his parents while they were away from the castle. Adriel could not do anything to stop it, and from what he heard, his parents were killed.

The next thing that Adriel did was run. He ran to the city, where he became an outcast, or really, an outlaw for the year. He kept his bond with pokemon, but throughout time his social ability failed with humans, and he long had no friends beside the pokemon he befriended in forests and the city. All he took with him was his bow and quiver of arrows. From then, he learned the life of a crook, where he had to steal from bakeries and such, to merely survive. However, through this time, he perfected his life as an outlaw, and decided to use his wits and strength to avenge his parent’s death.

RP Sample:

The wind was cold. It left a bitter, embracing chill that most townsmen hated and tried their best to ignore it. But, they couldn't, so they put on their cloaks, jackets, wool, anything to help them fight against the bitterness. However, on the cold dock of the town known as Belfhaste, a certain young man decided to rival the cold. Simply, by embracing what had come to embrace him.

Adriel Krane snarled as his target turned the street. He swiftly followed, cloaked and hidden beneath his hood. The new street was buzzing with activity, something that gave Adriel the benefit. Some, would rather hunt someone down in the forest, where you can hide in the lost foilage that perfected your hideout. But no, not Adriel Krane. In fact, the teen loved his new enviroment. He was at his high. Adriel's gitty wit and cleverness challenged the harsh enviroment that this street brought, the street didn't challenge his wit.

He had been on to the boy for a few days now, waiting for the perfect time to strike. Now, was his last time, as the young squire was heading back to his group now. He left no mercy to this one. None. Unfortunately, the squire's time had to come today. And simply, because he owned what this world would call a Pokemon. Something Adriel had been craving, wanting. The poor boy made the sad mistake of flashing his pokeball to Adriel.

He brushed past a merchant, then a woman holding her baby. His cold eyes never failed to cease the target. His boots stomped across the hard concrete as he walked by the beckoning merchants.

"Come," they called, extending their hand to Adriel. "See what I have to offer. Only the finest steel in all the lands! All at the simple cost of your bargaining." Adriel ignored them, narrowing his vision. Out of the corner of his eye he found an alley. Quickly, he moved past two townsmen and turned down the alley.

Adriel then began to pick up his pace and jog down the line until he came to an intersection of two alleys. He turned left on the dry sand and continued his way down. Next, he pulled out his bow and with his left hand he pulled in arrow from it's quiver. After, he stopped at another alley and peered into the opening. It led to the same street he was just following the boy on. With extreme gentleness, he knocked an arrow. He pulled back on the bowstring and closed his right eye, aiming with his left.

Then, the same boy made the mistake of continuing on the alley. His pace caught up to the same alley Adriel was aiming down. With no hesitation, the outlaw let go of the string. The arrow zipped through the wind and struck the squire square in the neck. Now, was the time to react.

Immediately, hell broke loose. Woman shrieked, men froze and shouted, while two knights walked by and examined him. The citizens started running away, and again, Adriel Krane was at a high. But, he still had yet to seize his prize.

Adrielran down two alleys and froze. He stopped at the end of a bar and quickly set down his bow and quiver at the side. Then, he charged up the alley that lead to the rioting street. His blank expression suddenly turned worried and distraught. "Septimus!" He shouted. "Septimus! Brother!" Adriel turned his glance to the fallen boy. He quickly ran over to the dead body and shoved the two knights out of his way. He kneeled at the near dead boy as a tear fell down his cheek.

"Septimus..." he sobbed. "My brother. Who did this to you?" His eyes melted the squire's thoughts, and he fell into a peaceful sleep. At this time, Adriel snuck his hand under the boy's belt and unclipped his pokeball, slipping it under his sleeve.

"I...I need to get my father..." Adriel muttered while he stood up. The knights took off their war helms and nodded respectively, giving great respect to Adriel. Adriel took one last sob and turned his gaze back to the corner where he had left his bow. He ran back and turned down the alley.

Adriel picked up his quiver and restrapped it to his back. He slung his bow at his back as well and sighed. "Such a pity..." he said to himself with a clever grin across his face. He ran up the alley and to the next street, which was also flooding with people. He flipped his hood over his head and walked over to the nearest merchant to make small talk with him. 'Twas only then when the street was hearing word of a dead, young, squire, killed by a silent assassin. He smiled, knowing that once again, Adriel Krane was at his high.

[Eh, hope that was alright. I'm not very good with personality and history. ^^; Thanks!]

Wow, this is getting pretty creative with the background, I like! There are two, pretty small, things we wanted to get hammered out though, so as not to hurt the storyline we've got going. Could you indicate somewhere that his Liege wasn't like...as high ranking as the usual ones? That Sir Ludvregen was just a knight himself, rather than like, a Lord? It would be suspicious for our rival-countries storyline to have a recently assassinated Lord that no-one's ever heard of, haha.

But like, someone can pledge allegience to anyone, so he could just be a Knight, and still be your liege, so we don't want you to change much of it, just make sure it says he's not, like, a big-shot on the same level as the other official lieges. 'Cause honestly, I really like this little back story. ^_^

Also, we need to know what kind of boy you want. Crossbow, shortbow, or longbow, specifically. Other'n that, you're good to go!

A knight is sworn to valor. His heart knows only virtue. His blade defends the helpless. His might upholds the weak. His word speaks only truth. His wrath undoes the wicked.

Say no more.

Eh, I edited it. Hope thats okay. I cleaned it up a bit as well.

However, I never intended for Ludvregen to interfere with your plot, if thats what you mean. ^^;

Oh we know you didn't!! We actually wanted to let you keep it since its a cool little bio, but it was just going to get to sticky ya know? Its still a good sign up though and changing it won't effect your choices or anything. Thanks for changing! ^_^

and now the moment you've been waiting for, your choices!

First off, 500 gold pieces. As well as these choices of pokemon:

Houndour

Scyther

Baltoy

Choose one, give it a gender (unless its Baltoy which is genderless), a nickname if you like, and 2 egg moves. Aleixel or I will do the rest!

Oh, alright. My apologies. ^^

Well, I'll be taking a male Scyther nicknamed 'Ravis', with the egg moves of Counter and Razor Wind. Thanks!
