Weather
The first great snowfall of a few days prior has coated the lands in a shining white that many would say is beauty embodied. The trees glimmer and chime with ice on their branches, and the evergreens are more vibrant and lively looking than at any other time in the year. The skies are cloudless, and with nothing to insulate the earth, temperatures drop low enough to be dangerous for long amounts of exposure at night.

Name: Boris “The Bear” Avtaikin
Age: 33
Gender: Male
Country: Lascia
Class: Vassal
Liege:[/bSir Lochlan
Starting Town: (For Outlaws and Vigilantes only)
Chosen Weapon: Claymore
Appearance: Boris Standing at 6’5” and weighing in at 250 lbs Boris is a fairly large guy. He isn’t pure muscle, but he isn’t pure fat but more of a mixture of the two. The fat that is on his body is just like a fat person’s fat, but instead this is solid mass with a tad bit of softness to it. He has shoulder length blonde hair and a very nice tan from constant exposure to the sun as he is in it all day long. His eyes are a bright hypnotizing blue, unless in Battlelust when they turn bright yellow. Normally he goes around shirtless wearing a long cloak made from the skin of a Mightyena he killed when he was younger and atop his head the skull of an ancient Marrowak that was also killed by him.(Both explained in bio) Also Boris refuses to wear pants…or underwear for that matter, instead he roams around in tight shorts crafted from a mixture of Mareep wool and Piloswine fur meaning they are extremely warm.
Personality: To put it simply Boris loves to fight. Any kind of fighting Boris loves, wrestling, scrapping, sparring, weaponless, with weapons, any way shape or form of it Boris likes it. Humans to Boris are very horrible creatures. He dislikes being around too many of them at one time and because of this he is seen as a very VERY quiet person. He is open to only a few people other then sir lochlan and those are his two brothers Drake, and Ivan.
Not only does Boris dislike people, but he hates being cramped inside of a building for more then an hour. He would rather spend all of his time outside and this spills over into his pokemon, for Boris doesn’t use pokeorbs. No, the man keeps all of his pokemon out of those cramped spaces which also in turn creates a strong bond between him and his pokemon. Boris also has a very unique way of capturing pokemon. Instead of using the pokeorbs he tries to persuade them and if that doesn’t work he beats them into submission until either they die or agree to go along with him.
Because of how Boris treats his pokemon he often trains hand in hand with them. He often wrestles and spars with them in hand to hand combat, meaning his pokemon know how to handle themselves in a battle without commands being issued out. Not only that, but they also can do combination moves with Boris.
Yet, there are 3 things that plague Boris the most: 1 His love of alcohol and his angry drunkness, 2 His insatiable hunger, and finally three a gift and curse known as Battlelust. When Boris goes into Battlelust frenzy he sees nothing around him, he is totally blinded by the lust for fighting he only calms down from this when there is no one else to fight or if someone can manage to subdue the bestial man. Luckily the Battlelust in Boris only comes out when he is outnumbered and about to fight. Normally during Battlelust Boris shouts out commands to his pokemon, but sometimes they too get caught up in the lust with their tamer and go buck wild with him. This causes both Boris and his pokemon to be fairly dangerous opponents.
Random Boris Facts. Speaks with an accent almost sounds like a pokemon. Favorite foods are berries Hates humanoid pokemon like Hitmonchan Extremely loyal to his country and lord Always helps injured or pokemon in trouble Has a special call that summons his pokemon to his location no matter where they are Ursaring is his favorite pokemon Favorite type of fighting Wrestling
Biography: Saying that Boris lived an underprivileged childhood in the sewers would be a complete and utter lie. Saying that his parents were good for nothings and kicked him out in the woods too would be a lie. And would you belive it his parents actually are still alive OH EM GEE NO ORPHAN! So yeah, now that all of those crazy somewhat cliché antics have been eliminated let us go onto the real story of Boris.
Both of his parents were very well to do people, his father being a very well known as well as strong Knight while his mother was a famous cook. Well, from the beginning Boris’s father knew he wanted all of his sons to be well respected knights just like himself and so his first son, Ivan was trained to become just that. The oldest brother of 5 years rigorously trained under his father’s supervision until he became a great mounted knight. Yes, Ivan’s specialty of combat was on the back of any pokemon large enough to be ridden. However, when Boris was born his father had a feeling the boy would turn out to be different.
While Ivan trained hard with his father on mounted pokeback, Boris always stood behind just watching. From birth, he was a very large boy, much larger then those around him which caused him to be very self conscious about himself. One day, while Boris was watching Ivan and his father fight on horseback he managed to notice that the pokemon they had been riding, both rapadash had became too injured to fight with. So Ivan and dad stabled the two pokemon. It was then when Boris took action. Quietly he snuck into the stables and cared for the pokemon. A day later Boris’s father caught Boris doing nothing but spending time with the pokemon and that was when he snapped. For some strange reason seeing his son play with pokemon more then train to become a Knight was too much for him and he yelled at Boris harshly. So harsh was this verbal abuse it literally broke Boris changing him for life. Completely enraged he ran away from the home not to return for quite some time.
The years that followed Boris as he lived out in the wilderness molded the boy into what he is today. From this is where the real Boris began to find its way out into the world. He often would find himself foraging for food while at the same time observing pokemon in their natural habitat. Those observations taught him more about fighting then anything he would have learned from his father. It was also during this time when Boris had really learned his love for fighting.
It happened when Borris was no more then 15, he was around 6’ and weighed little around 160lbs. He was wandering around the forest when he happened to see a pair of Ursaring, both brothers, locked into a furious wrestling match. Both were roaring with intensity as they bit, clawed, slammed, and grappled with one another. Eventually one was the victor and the loser slowly lay back down beside a tree to take a breather. Witnessing such an amazing battle filled Boris with such strange energy that he, without realizing what he was doing, jumped the Ursaring that was still standing. That big bear was caught by surprise and was sent crashing into the ground taking Boris with him. Of course being caught off guard enraged the bear and he easily wiped the floor with the boy, but for some reason the Ursaring didn’t kill him. Instead he left him alone and walked off with his brother leaving Boris, who was brutally beaten, to tend to his own wounds.
If this had happened to anyone else they would have either died or went back home, but not Boris. The boy quickly recovered from his wounds and began to train himself by lifting logs, carrying rocks, as well as various other things. All the while thinking of nothing, but hopefully coming across the two bears again one day. The days turned into months and Boris continued to grow both taller and stronger. Hope of finding the two Ursaring had long left his mind, but their fight still burned within his mind. And thank goodness too, for another key event in Boris’s history was about to happen.
The manbear was now 17 years old and had fully grown into the beast that he is now. This moment in his life Boris was nothing more than a wild animal, the need of battle carrying him all over the place. Someway or another he found himself into the territory of a pack of wild Mightyena 15 deep. All had blood red furious eyes locked upon him. Slowly a large Mightyena, one that towered over the rest, the alpha male, stepped up towards Boris. On instinct the rest of the pack circled the two in a ring of death in which only one person or pokemon would remain alive. Not realizing what was happening until it was too late, Boris was attacked by the lead Mightyena.
The large black dog pokemon lunged with great speed and power sending Boris crashing into the ground. Weather by luck or by instinct Boris rose up one hand holding the dog by the neck to prevent it from biting him. For the first time fear had filled Boris as he looked into the cold furious eyes of the pokemon that was frantically trying to kill him. He saw nothing of the compassion that was shown to him by Ursaring in this dog…no…only the want to kill. A lone eye of Boris’s looked around to see all of the Mightyena slowly taking a step forward and that’s when it happened. A sudden mixture of fear, anger, and pure rage had exploded inside of Boris. He knew not of what was happening around him, for the Battlelust had been unleashed for the first time in Borris’s life.
It was the Battlelust that had saved Boris that day. The frenzy brought upon filled his hand as he brought it into a fist upon Mightyena’s skull crushing it in a single blow bringing its life to an end. All of the Mightyena around him fled as they witnessed their leader killed by this savage man. When he had finally calmed down after seeing the pack scatter Boris looked at the limp body that lay before him. Absolute silence was the only thing heard as Boris skinned his victim with a sharp rock. Using the skin Boris fashioned a long cloak that he wears always to remember how the Battlelust is both a curse and savior to him.
Sadly though, not all of Boris’s time outside was all good, some were quite tragic especially the most important one…how and why he wears the skull on his head. The event happened around a year after Boris had found himself wandering around in the southern regions where the forests did not grow, but instead it was a rocky wasteland. It was there Boris happened to meet a clan of Cubone and their twin Marowak brother leaders. For a while Boris had thought these pokemon were very aggressive as this was the first time he had ever came across these pokemon, but when one of the brothers playfully smacked him on the head with the bone he knew they were friendly. Since he was lost and these pokemon were very friendly to Boris he stayed for a long time, a good 4 months. During this time he learned by watching the Cubone on how to use clubs and swords as weapons during combat. Often, the two leaders held some sort of classes for the younger cubone in which they showed off their own fighting prowess with the weapon as well as various skills to defend themselves against predators. But they did not know how to defend themselves from what was about to happen.
During one of their lessons a large shadow had appeared overhead. Thinking nothing of it the brother continued their lesson. However the shadow came again, only this time as it flew over a strong gust of wind was behind it…whatever it was it was getting closer to the ground. Immediately after the second go around the two brothers began to hurry the cubone into caves where it was safe, Boris on the other hand stayed out looking for the shadow. What happened next, Boris could remember as clear as day for it was when the last cubone had been escorted safely inside a cave. The shadow had come again, only this time it struck. That shadow struck hard and it struck fast one of the Marowak right in the chest killing the poor creature in a spray of blood. Just as it struck its form was visible…it was none other then a big old vicious looking Gliscor.
The vampire bat like pokemon loosed out a horrible high pitched sound which was none other then a laugh as he saw his fresh kill. Boris and the other Marowak’s eyes grew large neither one could believe what had just happened. All the while the villainous Gliscor laughed as it hovered over the body like an angel of death. Anger and sadness of the loss greatly filled Boris. Something was boiling inside of him, but it wasn’t the battlelust…it was just pure rage that was taking on a physical form. Not realizing what was happening within himself, Boris ripped the bone held in Marowak’s lifeless hand and charged at Gliscor. Being able to fly Gliscor had the advantage and he used it. Effortlessly he floated out of reach of a melee attack from Boris, but that was not going to stop the man. Using everything he had within himself he tossed the bone right at Gliscor. With an alarming speed the bone shot up and pierced the pokemon right through the heart. The big lifeless body fell to the ground with a loud thud. Boris paid no attention to this.
Going back to the brother, Boris as well as the entire Cubone clan laid Marowak to rest in a strange burial in which the bone helm of Marowak was removed. Boris was shocked when he saw what had happened next. The pokemon tossed the body of Marowak down into a dark crevice, but that wasn’t the most shocking thing. Those cubone had offered Marowak’s skull helm to Boris as a gift. Graciously Boris took the skull helm and placed it on top of his head. From that day forth Boris always wears the skull of Marowak, his dear friend on his head for both protection as well as memory for the pokemon that had meant so much too so many. Well the years stopped for no one and Boris was no exception. The boy grew into a man, a beast of a man but a man none the less. Yet, there was something that continued to eat at him in the back of his mind and he didn’t know what it was until it came to him in a dream one day. In his dream stood his father, his oldest brother, and a young man of about 29 he didn’t know who the last young man was, but he looked just like him and his father. Then he knew what he had to do…go home to see his father.
Knowing the area around him like the back of his hand Boris was able to get back home fairly quickly. And upon his first step home he was assaulted by a pack of Growlithe. Only, the dogs clung to him as if they had never seen him for a long time even though Boris was sure this was their first meeting. All of the noise the dogs had made caused the door to open revealing a shocked Ivan, his father, and the other man. The most surprised of all of them had been Boris’s father. As the man spoke he stammered his words.
“I t-t-thought….B-B-Boris? Y-y-y-you should be d-d-dead.”
“Zo yew ‘ave thought faither. I ‘ave bean away in da woods lahning ove ebery thing yew ‘ave tried to teach me. Who iz thiz young man ‘ere?”
“You’ve…gotten an accent while away. But this young man is your younger brother. He was born sometime after you left…he too became a Knight.”
"Dat iz…wot I ‘ave returned ‘ere for faither. I too ‘ave realized that I must become a Knight. Not because ove wot yew veesh ove me. But because of mah Battlelust…and mah love of beasts. Faither…because of yew disposing of mahself I ‘ave becomed a master of pokemon…a Beastmaster! Ivan…Drake…I glad to be seeing you two for de furst time. But for now I must be goin…dere must be someboda that be needin a vassal and dat be me. One last ting dough. I be hopin to see ye both in de battlefield...fightin along side mine own bruddas makin me happy. And yew Faither…I vill alvays ‘ate yew vif a passion.”
And with his last words echoing in his fathers ears Boris set off. He was heading into civilization he had not been in for years to protect the very people he hated for a single reason…the Battlelust that flowed in his veins. Thus, the story of Boris “The Bear” Avtaikin begins.
RP Sample: The towering beast of a man known by no other name than Boris stood before a giant door. His bright sky blue eyes stared hungrily at the door from behind the skull of his dear Marowak friend. Somehow, Boris's search to find a man had taken him around what seemed to be the entire world before he found himself standing in this spot. From what he had been told beyond this door was one of the most chivalrous knight's that had ever been born...Sir Lochlan.
There had been many lords who Boris could have vowed himself to, but none of them seemed to fit exactly what he wanted. The first who he wanted to pledge to were the Lord and Lady Willow, however they were magicians, one's who dipped their bodies in the mystical sea of energy known as magic. Something Boris despised greatly, for to him magic was for the weak who couldn't hold their own in battle. Then he had laid his eyes upon Sir Fallon, however he was young, only a few years older then Boris and that was something Boris would never see himself doing. For him to pledge his allegiance to someone who was barely older then him was humiliation.
Well Boris thought that no one in Lascia was worthy enough for him to vow to, until he heard of the old knight known as Lochlan. Everything he had heard about him seemed to be just perfect, from how he handled himself to his combat. But it was the fact that Sir Lochlan was a wonderful wine connoisseur that really made him want to pledge to the old man. Just being able to taste a slight bit of the wine sent Boris nearly sprinting to where he was now. All he had to do was wait until it was time to be seen.
Thinking now was a better time then ever Boris's large arms easily pushed the giant doors aside. Immediately Boris's blue eyes pierced through the air catching sight of the man who could be none other then Sir Lochlan. Hastily Boris found himself standing before the man he would soon call his lord; his bright blue eyes never once leaving the eyes of the man that stood before him. Instinctively Boris fell to his knees with a thunderous noise as his deep accented voice filled the room.
"Sir Lochlan I be Boris Avtaikin. I be done sircheen longh an 'ard fa one who be strong enough fa me to be callin ma lawd. Ove wot I's bin told yew be da most respectable and gentamanly like. Dat not be all eitha. Day be sayin ya good vith vine. And dat ma lawd I be findin da most spectable of ye. Lastly lawd I ave one more thing. I be a Beastmasta I am one vith de vild beasts known az pokemon I be tamin dem and I be trainin dem fa battle. I ma lawd believe dat mounts trained ba me be de most powerful frightnin of dem all. Lawd Lochlan...allow me ta be one of ya vassals I von't let yew down..."
The entire time Boris spoke his piercing blue eyes stared at Lochlan barely blinking. Those eyes shone bright the truth that he was speaking as well as holding back the lust for the battle that flowed in his veins.

It's like he-man meets pokemon!! I like it! The only thing I see is that "Has a special call that summons his pokemon to his location no matter where they are" part. You're going to have to teach your pokemon that call, in the rp. Otherwise the first time you do it they're not gonna have a clue what you're doing lol.
But very interesting signup!! I reward thee 550 in Gold pieces and your choice of these three pokemon (though I can already guess which one you'll choose lol)
Mankey
Houndour
.....Teddiursa
Choose one, give it a gender, a nickname if you like, and two egg moves. You know the drill.
