Welcome to Pokemon Kingdoms!
Season
Winter

Weather
The first great snowfall of a few days prior has coated the lands in a shining white that many would say is beauty embodied. The trees glimmer and chime with ice on their branches, and the evergreens are more vibrant and lively looking than at any other time in the year. The skies are cloudless, and with nothing to insulate the earth, temperatures drop low enough to be dangerous for long amounts of exposure at night.

The Battle in Belfhaste Harbor is about to commence; all interested parties should report post-haste

The ice that has taken over the water has finally begun to thin; once it has melted entirely, normal naval activity can resume, as most ships are incapable of traversing such dangerous obstacles as enormous hull-piercing shards of ice. Most ships...

Name: Sarah B. Dei

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Country: Caledonia

Class: Outlaw

Starting Town: Forest of Arsaidh

Chosen Weapon: Bow/Arrows

Appearance: Detailed (huge) View
With auburn hair that reaches to just below her shoulder blades, Sarah wears it down, and with a green tunic and ankle-length Tavern Wenches skirt. The tunic is emblazoned with a flame from the base of the tunic to the bust line, and from there contains lacy gray smoke. The intricate pattern is completely opposite the frontal trailer with the red gem’s patterning. The gem on the trailer and her necklace are priceless family heirlooms. Who’s family? Not hers, that’s for sure, especially considering she’s pretty much disowned her family. She wears a pair of leather lace-up boots she snatched from some rich family in the past.

Personality: A minor fascination with theft, Sarah will generally appear as ultimately optimistic on the outside, but thinks carefully underneath, when she’s got the time. She’s also managed to master some basic performing arts for target-picking during the day, sideshowing on the streets during the day to entertain the populace and earn some money, then sneaking over to someone’s place at night for other things, food, clothes, the necessities... It all depends on what she needs. She’s always open-minded, and keeps all her emotions and ‘trust’s under her optimistic face. She fails to believe in ‘honor among thieves’, but may choose to check in with someone more powerful on occasion for her to use them to her own measures, and target bigger ‘kills’, so to speak.

Biography: When she was young, Sarah managed to somehow massively screw up with the family, and was quickly approached about it. It was at this point that she disowned herself and ran away, leaving her name and past behind her in the city, where she opted to change her appearance almost totally so it would be rare the family member who would recognize her. She managed to master several basic performance arts: Juggling, Playing the Lute, dancing, storytelling. She uses a different one every now and again to obtain daily funding and food from the local peoples. Her speed has, in the past, been proven average, but her flexibility in a pinch is seen as phenomenal, allowing her to pass through gates others would have to jump or scale to get past.

RP Sample:
Sarah bounced around the town square, juggling little Pokeorb-painted rocks without the runes and spinning a plate on the stick on her nose. While she performed, she was scoping out the people paying her any mind. The people who stood and watched were fine. Probably not the best of targets to snap on tonight. And the Wealthy would probably have guards and guard beasts at their places, and usually didn’t drop coins anyways. Not in this town.

She’d traveled up to Comeragh today, to peg some targets that wouldn’t recognize her. She smiled as she watched one member of her ex-family pass by, offering a glare and clearly not recognizing her: Probably a good thing. ~Wonder what the family’s doing in Comeragh...~ She shrugged, though, forgetting it as her eyes drifted over the rest of the potential targets for the night. A couple kids were watching the performance, and she smiled at them, turning the focus of her performance to them for a moment, removing the plate and stick and setting those on the ground gently. “Can I get a volunteer from the young folks of the audience?” The kids scrambled for attention, children of high families and low alike, and one farmchild who wasn’t really bothering to vie for attention. It was he upon whom I called.

“How about you? Would you like to help me out?” The boy seemed incredulous that he’d been picked, but after a moment happily bolted to the front, receiving stuck-out-tongues from those of better families than he. He ignored them, of course. “Here. You hold these, and when I tell you, I want you to throw one at my arms, okay?” He nodded quietly, trying just as hard as anyone else to figure out why I’d needed someone to help if I was just going to juggle. He didn’t quite catch my glance of confidence.

I picked up 3 more of the little balls from my ‘bag o tricks’ and began to juggle them slowly. “Here!” I smiled at the boy, who fumbled for a second before tossing the ball to me, aim a little off. I smiled and bent to collect the ball, not missing a step. The process continued until his arms were empty and he wondered whether he should head back to the crowd. However, I had other plans. “Here!”

He stood straight up and just barely caught the balls I tossed his way, tossing each into the air and working to keep them from hitting the floor a little nervously. Three balls to start. The crowd had stopped it’s confused whisperings and just watched I tossed him another ball every now and again, and when he thought he’d lose his set, I’d shout out again and he’d toss me one of his balls a little clumsily. I could see his father on the edge of the crowd, astounded. ~Target Located.~ I grinned only the wider.

After a while, I finished off the trick by tossing each of the balls to a hat off to the side by the same process I’d gotten them. The pair of us bowed to the crowd and the boy hopped over to his father excitedly. “Hey, kid. You did pretty good, for a first-timer. As a performer, you’ve earned a cut of the draw.” I looked at the meager setting and took out a handful of the coins, plopping the hat responsible for collection on his head. He looked up at me confused when he didn’t feel any coins it his head. “Check yer pockets, kiddo.” He reached into his trousers and pulled out a couple handfuls of the coins. “That’s your cut, ‘kay? Keep it. Don’t spend it all in one place, okay?”

“Thank you!” He cried, leeching onto my waist in a hug. I just patted his shoulder, noting from the edge of my vision his father’s face. He couldn’t have looked more astounded at the juggling, so his new appearance brought a smile to my face. He gave me a ‘thank you so much’ smile before leading his boy off to finish whatever errands he’d been running, and probably another one or two now. I let my show go on for a while longer before packing up and thanking all the townsfolk who’d enjoyed the show and contributed.

Coincidentally enough, the farmchild and his father were leaving the same time. I finished packing up to give them a heads up before following after them in the shadows of trees and whatever else I could locate, off the path a bit. The boy was having fun, it seemed, counting his ‘cut’ and its leftovers.

That night, I snuck into the farmer’s barn and looked around to try to locate anything worth snatching from the place. Food, money, anything interesting, of course. I also checked behind the main house, careful of the woman of the house before pillaging what I could find of her garden: Lettuce or berries or whatever. Finally, I limbered my way into the attic to look for anything light and interesting before bolting away again with the spoils of the night, wishing the boy and his family well before heading back to my place in the trees at Arsaidh.

Hahaha, I loved the line in the first bit about it being from some family, just not hers. Made me laugh, haha. Anywho, you've earned 550 Gold for it and one of the following Pokemon!

Doduo
Chikorita
Pichu

Pick a Pokemon, a gender, a nickname (if you'd like one), and two egg moves for it to know right off, and Enrua or myself'll get right back on it! Remember, all Pokemon automatically know the TMs that they can learn of their primary type.
