Winter
Weather
The first great snowfall of a few days prior has coated the lands in a shining white that many would say is beauty embodied. The trees glimmer and chime with ice on their branches, and the evergreens are more vibrant and lively looking than at any other time in the year. The skies are cloudless, and with nothing to insulate the earth, temperatures drop low enough to be dangerous for long amounts of exposure at night.

The Battle in Belfhaste Harbor is about to commence; all interested parties should report post-haste
The ice that has taken over the water has finally begun to thin; once it has melted entirely, normal naval activity can resume, as most ships are incapable of traversing such dangerous obstacles as enormous hull-piercing shards of ice. Most ships...

Scrolls of Pokemon Summoning
Powerful works of magic that go beyond even the spellwork of TMs, Summoning Scrolls have an ability whose origin is steeped in mystery to all but those few mages who practice it, copying the art from ancient scrolls uncovered around the world. Most of these scrolls are older than one can even begin to guess, and are more difficult to find than Fossils, unless one knows where to look and if fortune is smiling particularly brightly upon them.
When used in the field, held high and commanded to "Rise, Summoned Pokemon, ______" the writing on their surface, differently colored depending on the strength of the spell, will call upon the named Pokemon if it is available in that area, and summon it from wherever it had been to directly before the user. The scroll will disintegrate harmlessly upon its completion.
The three classes of power among the scrolls are distinguished by the color of the writing, with Golden ink being indicative of the most powerful of summonings, drawing from Extremely Rare Pokemon or lesser. Blue is the second most powerful, and can be used to summon Pokemon of Rare class or lesser. Lastly, Gray text indicates the least powerful scroll, capable of summoning Common Pokemon.
In order to summon a Pokemon of any given class, one must be in the proper area where that Pokemon can normally be found. This means it is not possible to summon a Charizard in the middle of Drogheda, as Charizard is not a city Pokemon. Also, the chosen Pokemon must be the level of your highest Pokemon or less, not higher. If your highest Pokemon is Level 40, you can choose to summon Charizard, Charmelon, or Charmander. However, if your highest is Level 10, you can only choose to summon Charmander.
