The first great snowfall of a few days prior has coated the lands in a shining white that many would say is beauty embodied. The trees glimmer and chime with ice on their branches, and the evergreens are more vibrant and lively looking than at any other time in the year. The skies are cloudless, and with nothing to insulate the earth, temperatures drop low enough to be dangerous for long amounts of exposure at night.

No one knows when the original Temius Region was created, but it was always believed that it was to do with most of the legendary pokemon pooling their strengths together, however this is a home grown tale, it was never ever proved. Originally, The Temius Region was like four of the known regions in this universe. It had eight gym leaders whom had to be beatend to be able to advance to attempt to challenge the Elite Four and eventually the champion of the Region, who at the time was Russel Davis, that was until it happened.
An unknown pokemon appeared from no where, it was shrouded in a black fog and therefore the species of pokemon was never identified, it was hard to even tell what size the pokemon was, whatever the case it was powerful and managed to wipe out all of the original cities. However, a newly formed group saved the regions people, using their extreme abilities in pokemon training they saved them all with mass Protection moves. This group of people became known as the Pokemon Liberation Front (or PLF for short.) It was lead by the Professor of the Temius Region, Professor Bamboo.
However, some people thought that the creation of the Pokemon Liberation Front was something that was going to take over the whole of the region, and this caused a rift between various members of the Elite Four and the Eight Gym Leaders who were all there to challenge the trainers who came to face them. This thought was due to the fact they were basically built the new cities in the region, making the Capital, Cressington Manor the city where their main base was.
Currently the leader of the Dark Rebels is unknown, and is permanently staying within the shadows he's created. All that is known about him is that he is unbelievably intellegent and was able to start producing shadow pokemon years after Cipher and Team Snagem failed to continue their plans, thanks to two individuals and a girl with the power to see the pokemon with closed hearts. Of course, it was impossible for the Dark Rebels to gain the power of Lugia, as Cipher had. So it seemed that mysterious Leader had set his sights on other legends. And it seemed that the one that had destroyed the Temius Region was only one of his extensive collection.
It wasn't long before the PLF had discovered the Dark Rebels' plan to try and capture as many pokemon and close their hearts effectively making them fighting machines with no feelings. They contacted Professor Krane of the Orre Region who sent the blueprints for Snag Machines that they would pass out to people who were worthy and wouldn't use them for evil.
Both groups sent out a welcoming letter requesting that trainers come and join their groups to overcome one another.
The premise to the Temius Region sounds like the plot to a Saturday morning cartoon, and I mean that in the best way possible

The Funny One: Because they didn't have any in my size! The Other One: Hey guys, any chance I can get a bit more screentime or dialo- The Leader: Pokemon Liberators... Let's liberate!
