Went to look at a construction project yesterday. I told the customer before I went that I would probably not take part of it as he wanted me to bypass lab tests for asbestos. Told him he would have the quote in 2 days. This am I get an email "where is my bid"

I responded that I will not do the one part because I am short manpower and could not get that part done in a timely manner. But I bid the other part

He sent me an angry email telling me how disappointed he is and how I bid the gravy part (lol stain grade crown moldings) and not the popcorn ceiling scraping and that he will hire another to do it all

WTF BTW he already has the rooms empty and wants to start yesterday for a low rate

so vote

I do not.............but he is related to some good friends and subs and I do not want the bs to go on

My point was what would you want honesty or deception, clearly this guy wants deception

In this case deception is less expensive. Why scrape the popcorn junk. Just put another ceiling over it.
