What happened? Do you think the pilot blacked out maybe or just too low? You can hear its under power til it hits. Mind you this is really a vintage aircraft, maybe he is used to flying more modern aircraft and overestimated its capabilities. http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-34034784 Edited by Telcoman, Aug 23 2015, 08:45 AM.

The Hunter has been one of my favorite jets. It looked like to me that his round out altitude was too low to over come the sink rate at the bottom of the loop. I understand the pilot survived. If so it is amazing. |

I did a loop over a sandbar on the Mississippi River where my friends were gathered for their weekly boating party. Near the sandbar were a gaggle of power lines crossing the river. My loop was poorly executed and I had to fly under the lines at the bottom of the loop. The gang was impressed however at my precision aerobatic maneuver. Brrrrrrrrrr. |

Oddly enough I have a recurring dream of flying a plane & getting tangled in power lines. |

Must be some significance to that. Its lie the common one of having somebody chase you and your legs turn to rubber. I am often a pilot trying to get the plane up through power lines and they seem to occur at pretty high altitude. the other recurring one i have is I am still at work pulling in paycheck while at the same time collecting my pension. They haven't noticed, but i am afraid they will and I will have to pay back all the pension funds I have already spent. That one must result form being a dog F*#$er. at work all those years, LOL. |

LOL. I can't believe it!! I have a variant of the rubber legs thing also. My legs are so heavy, I can't move them. Another one is I show up for work in my underwear hoping no one will notice. |

I have shown up naked, trying to hide under a desk. Its better when a woman in skirt comes to sit down there, at least. |

About once a week, my wife wakes me up for kicking her. I fight a lot in my dreams and it is usually by kicking. |
