Who cares how many a sane person has. The question should be more thorough background checks. Not some dumbass, lazy clerk rubber stamping them.

Then, mandatory 10 years jail time for anyone who allows an unlicensed person access to THEIR weapons

Is discriminating between licenced
and unlicensed gun owners not a contravention
of your second amendment?

I have never seen where licencing was mentioned there!

License the individuals, not the guns, same way as is done with drivers licenses. And ban sales of high tech military weapons to the general population. Swizerland actually has quite strict gun laws despite what teh NRA says and they have few problems without banning guns.

To protect ourselves from tyranny, we need the same power as our Govt. The 2nd allows it.

Do you think this latest Muslim Farook killer would have been denied a license?

When I read about folks hoping to protect themselves from their government
using the small arms available to them, I have to give my head a shake!

Do you really believe that you can take out a modern missile launcher
or fighter plane with your AK47 or similar?

Why do you fear your government in any case?

Sea, you misread. I said we as citizens have the right to have equivalent fire power as out Govt. Why should those that we elect to serve us, out gun us?

Perhaps.
I still do not understand why you think
there is a possibility that your government will go nuts
and try to decimate the citizens.

Where does the 2nd say anything about the same fire power? I doubt there were many 32 pounder field pieces in the possession of civilians. Most could not afford them or the ball and powder to fire them.

But, if someone wants to give me an 8" self-propelled.... It would be a really cool looking mailbox at the end of the driveway!

I'd certainly like to read the answer to that one myself!
