Creation of a world is a long process, however, Admins and moderators will be happy to assist in any way. Make sure that you have an idea of more than just the location of your world, also keep in mind the government, resources, economy, religion, and many other aspects of your world. It is important to be thorough so that when a character inhabits your world, they are able to understand everything about the way that they are able to interact with their environment.

World Building:

  • You are welcome to use inspiration for your world from other world-building tactics such as Dungeons and Dragons or Pathfinder. However, using your own deities and government makes it easier for you to have control over the lore and organization of your world.
  • Even aspects of your universe which you may not believe will come into play (such as the type of currency you use, the time system, the government, common modes of transportation, etc.) should be addressed. Although you may not believe that they are important, they may be a determining factor in somebodies thread that you simply could not account for. If this information is not included, the assumption is that it uses the currency, government, and transportation that fits within the representative time and location of your world as it is represented in the real world.
  • NPCs are encouraged, as it makes your universe a more thorough and inhabited, and also allows players to interact with their environment better, giving them less control over their character, but allowing them to develop their character against adversity. If you choose to use NPCs, simply create one more account under your email address with the username NameNPC. Do not upload infromation to this account, simply use it to interact with your players. While NPCs are a necessity for developing characters, be sure that they are modest and offer only simple developments for your character

Roleplaying & Interaction:

  • The description and creation of your world should be made from a member account, as this will offer you the opportunity to become the narrator to your world. If you wish to tell the story from the perspective of a Sovereign or Deity of your planet, this is encouraged even more so! However, please consider the way that this form of narration will affect your world's narration. Have fun with it! Enjoy offering a new perspective.
  • Your world will be posted as it's own forum, however, if you intend to have several towns/regions/landmarks/etc. available to people, be sure to have these set up in subforums, so that any people interacting may do so in these places, organizing Roleplay/topics by the zone where they take place, so that there is no clutter.
