Labyrinth:Frost Desert
Location - Frost Desert, 1F.
Time: -distorted-.
Bios - Chronos Aeternus Kaiser, Chrys Haya and Satoshi Hammurabi

"Dammit! They just keep coming!" The bartender cursed aloud, yanked a kunai out with an irritated grunt and booted the now-dead monster metres across the ground, adding another to the death toll. Trails of scarlet blood stained the snow and the wind continued to screech within the frozen tundra. Chrys grit his teeth, held his kunai tight and looked around at his surroundings.

This wasn't a good situation... Stuck in the middle of a ice crater with and endless amount of strange creatures all around him... To call this a tough predicament was an understatement. These creatures... What the hell were they?! Just his damn luck, the first thing that had to occur when he entered the labyrinth was be ambushed by these... atrocities.. These crystalline monstrosities stood on two feet with an exoskeleton made out of thin ice... If he could call that strange hunched body an exoskeleton. Still, they still bled like any other creature and it still was weak enough to cut through with a blade. They had no head nor any hands. Just large misshapen claws to slash and rip and a mouth and nose to sniff out and find their prey.

And it seemed that they were thirsty... So damn thirsty for blood.

They continued to prowl around him, circling his every move. He was selected to be their prey. Their meal... Their feast. One, two three... Dammit! How many were there!? He had already taken down too many to count and yet they were still coming. Son of a bitch, why did the opening portal drop him right in the middle of the crater? He didn't know what the hell these creatures were capable of, if he ran he could be struck down almost immediately. There was no telling what these things could do. To his right, Chrys caught one crystalline beast inching closer, preparing to strike. Chrys wasn't in the mood to become a human snack just yet.

The creature roared before rushing forward with it's claws out to its side. On instinct, Chrys backed away to the side and hurled a kunai right into the creature's side. It howled in pain before Chrys made a mad dash over, slammed an electric fist against its body. Cracks formed along the icy armour, indicating to Chrys that it wasn't a strong form of outer body protection. "Get out of my face!" Shrouding his other fist in azure lightning, Chrys punched the creature once more with enough force for it to fly away. As it laid limp on the ground, now dead, he bartender muttered another curse under his breath.

Green eyes looked around, taking in the surroundings again. He was still surrounded, still stuck in a crater and still no where close to getting rid of all these son of a bitches. Great. Just... great.

This was not how things were supposed to have turned out.

When Chronos had heard word around the estate about a labyrinth showing up in the Hiraa Desert, he'd originally been uninterested. He had his own responsibilities to tend, and didn't have time to deal with something as insignificant as a labyrinth. O course, when Elaine caught wind of it, she had, quite vehemently, suggested he go and assist with liberating the Labyrinth... under the guise of Rathallion de Uriel. Her reasoning for such a suggestion was sound enough, of course. Not many people knew just what kind of person Rathallion de Uriel was, and many were suspicious of not only him, but of the sudden introduction of him being Elaine's fiancé. If the public knew that he had assisted with this issue, then they would certainly view him as less suspicious. Just because it was sound reasoning, didn't mean Chronos had to like it though. Regardless, he was ever one to obey Elaine, and as soon as he was able to do so, he left for the Hiraa Desert. Upon arrival he took notice of one particular things that stood out: the chill in the air. While the desert being cold was nothing new... that kind of temperature was usually reserved for the night hours, not the middle of the day where it should have been blisteringly hot. Chronos had thought nothing of it, at the time, and had recklessly charged into the crack in reality, red lightning trailing behind him as he just wanted to get this over and done with as quickly as possible.

That had probably been his first mistake.

Mere moments after his arrival, Chronos was beset upon by strange creatures of ice and snow, shambling monstrosities that sought his very life. A user of Lightning Ethos, it was no difficult feat for Chronos to quickly move away from them and dispose of them with large bolts of red lightning... but after a while it was getting more difficult. Where one fell, two rose. Where he escaped a horde, another arrived to hound him. It wasn't long before Chronos' lightning ethos just simply wasn't enough, forcing him to remove Heirsbane from its' sheathe. With a combination of lightning, blade and gun, Chronos managed to make relative progress in defending himself, however miniscule said progress was.

"Get out of my face!" Beyond the raging blizzard, it was a voice that Chronos heard all to well. He held no doubt that it was another person here to do the same job as him, and as such, made an effort to move towards the sound. Of course, he took care to eliminate anything in his path, leaving a wonderful trail of scarlet as he moved from one location to the next in quick bursts of red lightning. Soon enough, Chronos caught sight of what he believed to have been the source of the voice. A man of average height stood in a crater surrounded by whatever creatures inhabited this labyrinth, with spiked brown hair and green eyes... as well as some distasteful clothing. The mere sight of this man disgusted Chronos, and if he had his way, he'd shoot him and leave him for dead here and now... but right now, he wasn't Chronos. He was Rathallion, an upstanding, if not fairly new, member of the upper-class. Sure, he could easily explain that the man was dead before he showed up, but it would do him little to earn the trust of the people. There was also the matter of this man being the only other person he'd seen since entering, besides those monstrosities, of course... and judging by the scarlet snow and the crystalline corpse near the man, he could fight. Making a decision, Chronos quickly moved over to the man in a flash of red lightning, a booming crack of thunder announcing his arrival as he placed himself back-to-back with the revealing man, Heirsbane gripped firmly in his right hand and red electricity crackling across his neatly-dressed form.

"Are you able to fight still? These creatures are quite weak, and fold upon themselves quickly and easily, but if you are injured then your first priority should be to find a way to escape this frozen hellscape." It was a simple statment that Chronos made as he kept his eyes on the edge of the crater, firing Heirsbane off whenever a abomination rose over it. After a shot or two, the barrel simbly clicked, causing Chronos to swear as he squeezed down on the trigger, feeling the familiar pull from the weapon as the chamber began whirring, refilling itself with his own energy. A short while later, it ceased spinning, and Chronos went back to firing off shots at the creatures.

Author's Note: Chronos is currently posing as Rathallion de Uriel, and as such, is dressed as explained within his bio, though he is not wearing his jacket. As a result, however, he does not have his mask on, leaving his face on full display and his left eye blind.

"Guess the stories of this place were true." Satoshi said as he entered the odd labyrinth. "A friggin winter wonderland out in the desert."

"Yeah, great. Snow in a goddamn desert labyrinth. Fascinating." His other self chimed in. "I'm more interested in seeing what creatures reside in this place. And how easily they bleed."

"You might just get your sadistic wish." Satoshi said as several shambling ice creatures took notice of him and began to close in. "Have fun."

"Oh, believe me. Fun will definitely not be in short supply for me today." His other self said grinning as he stomped on the ground, creating a wave of snow-covered earth that took out a number of the creatures. More just seemed to take their place, however.

"Oh, good. There's more of you. I was afraid I was already running out of playthings!" Satoshi roared as he covered himself in a shroud of lightning and ran into the middle of the still growing horde. After reaching there, he sent out a lightning wave in a circle around him that took out enough of the creatures that allowed him to continue through the labyrinth.

Heading farther in and taking out more creatures along the way, cackling as he did, Satoshi heard someone farther on ahead yell out "Get out of my face!"

"Sounds like someone in here isn't having much fun with these creatures. Guess I'll go have a little fun in their stead!" He said as he rushed off towards the direction of the voice.

As he got closer to where he thought the voice came from, Satoshi was slowed a bit by the increased intensity of the blizzard the farther in he went. He eventually came across several dead bodies of the creatures he fought along the way before noticing a large crater in the ground with bolts of lightning and shots of Ethos coming out of it. Satoshi quickly hopped down into the crater to try and get out of the blizzard as much as he could. Upon reaching the bottom, he laid eyes on the people the attacks were coming from. The shots of Ethos came from a blade held by a man in a fancy-looking attire while the lightning came from another man who's attire barely passed being called skimpy.

"Sorry for being late!" Satoshi said with a huge grin on his face. "This is the meeting place for the Frozen Idiots Club, isn't it?" He said firing shots of lightning off at a few creatures that shambled their way closer to the crater.

Finally, after months of waiting and getting information from those around town Alexis had finally gotten something useful from it all. Whoever said it was easy being beautiful was definitely mistaken, many of the men she had gotten close to and even got as far as giving them a little... Extra attention had given her bogus information. But finally, she had heard of a labyrinth showing up in Hiraa Desert so that was where the blonde Bombshell made her way.

Entering the labyrinth without a second thought, Alexis was not ready for what she was confronted by. But that didn't stop her, since her parents had done this in their younger days she could do it too... She hadn't been living on her own and fighting off scum for nothing. As the shambling monsters of ice started to surround her, Alexis let her Ethos fly as fire erupted from her hands. Was it sheer luck that she had been dropped into a snow layered labyrinth, without giving it a second though she started throwing fire left and right.

What were these monsters? They didn't seem like anything she had seen before but still they almost stood like frozen humans. Except without a head to hold upon its neck and claws replacing where its hands should be, though they may have been easy enough to kill with her Ethos and a nice punch could shatter them in no time, Alexis knew that if she made one wrong move she could be in big trouble and there was no way this was the hardest part of the Labyrinth.

Once the few that surrounded her had been taken care of Alexis took the time to look around, noticing that the blizzard was getting stronger the further she looked in. Luckily with her fiery hot abilities she wasn't going to freeze to death anytime soon, with her hands lit and her hair moving to give her a shield to block the wind Alexis started running towards the blizzard.

Hearing a voice shout from within, Alexis corrected her course and started moving towards it. "Please tell me someone else who knows what they are doing is in here." She said to herself as she sprinted through the snow melting as much as she could along the way.

Suddenly making it to a crater with what felt like electricity brimming from it, her hair starting to get frizzy from the static as she stopped controlling the luscious blonde locks and jumped down to slide down the sloped surface. Once she reached the bottom she noticed three rather handsome looking figures, a smirk growing on her face as she flipped her hair and tried to stroke it down to hide the frizz.

"I don't think I'm a Frozen idiot but I'd be happy to join the club." She winked at the tall red haired man, her tongue poking out her mouth just slightly before turning to the other two. "You guys wouldn't say no to me would you?" Her elbow moving to push up her breast the slightest bit as she tried to look a little more innocent her mouth opened slightly.

Now, Chrys wasn't what he would call, "weak". He certainly wasn't strongest out there, but he did believe he was at least was "capable". Unfortunately, he was beginning to doubt himself. "Dammit! How many of you are there!?" He barked out, either out of desperation or rage. He couldn't tell which one it was though; it was probably both. There was another expletive muttered under his breath, signalling that this situation was getting out of control. He could only dodge their attacks for so long, even if he wasn't harmed just yet. Pulling out another Lightnng Shredder, he braced himself for a long, cold night. If this kept up, he was going to need make a couple of funeral arrangements.

Luckily for him, it seemed that the world had planned for his funeral to be another day. In a red flash and clap of thunder, a figure appeared behind him. Taking a quick glance, he could garner that it was a man, thanks to his large muscular shoulders, with long almost snow white hair in a pony tail. Judging from the speed of this man's arrival, Chrys had no doubt that this was a fellow lightning ethos user. A classy, posh yet deep voice spoke to him, using elevated and more eloquent language than most, asking if he could still fight. "Yeah, I can fight, thanks for the help," Chrys responded he bartender pulled out two more kunai from his side pouch.

There were loud gunshots, a curse followed by the sounds of some sort of machine. Looking up, his green eyes spotted two crystalline monsters darting towards the pair. "Oh no you don't!" Two short blades blitzed through the blizzard, hitting his targets square in the torso. With a snap of his fingers, deep blue lightning ruptured from the blades. A fancy, flashing light show that showed different arrays of blue came from the explosion, leaving two more dead bodies in the snow.

"This is the meeting place for the Frozen Idiots Club, isn't it?" Looking behind him, another person appeared from the raging winds. A red-headed, handsome man with two different coloured eyes and a rather... Chrys would call it unsettling, grin plastered on that pretty face. Great, did a psychotic sadistic murderer decide to drop by and say hello? Firing shots of white lightning this time, the newcomer seemed capable enough to fight.

"I don't think I'm a Frozen idiot but I'd be happy to join the club." As if right on cue, a beautiful looking blonde woman had also decided to join the party. What the hell was this? Did someone call the calvary or something...? Judging by her little show of cleavage, Chrys knew that this woman had some experience in the way of seduction. Perfect, now there were two thots roaming around in here.

Whatever, Chrys didn't have time for snarky comments and internal monologue, he had to get out of here alive. With the firepower and the amount of people here, he could make that happen.

"Nice of you two to drop in. I'll introduce myself later but first, since we now have the firepower, let's get rid of these things." He answered giving them both a wink and a welcoming, yet somewhat amused grin. Chrys looked over the snowy landscape, trying to detect if there were any incoming enemies begging to be taken out.

Instead, what he got was shrieking. A lot of it. So damn much of it. The creatures' ear splitting symphony became a whining, high pitched ringing in his ears. "D-Dammit! Just... shut up...!" He held his head, shut his eyes and tried to cover up his ears from the awful cacophonous pain. It continued for what seemed liked hours, but most likely were seconds, before it stopped. Slowly, Chrys opened his eyes.

"W-what the...?"

Where there once stood a few creatures in the double digits, now were standing creatures in far larger numbers. From a glance, he could tell it ranged from at least a couple hundred of the damn bastards. How...!? When!? Were there always that many!? It seemed that they had a change of plans too. Instead of prowling around like hungry tigers, they began rushing through the snow into the crater like a mob.

Shit, shit shit! This wasn't good...! Even with all four of them, they couldn't stand a chance against that many! Even if they did finish them off, who knows if there were going to be even more. Chrys hated to run, but at the very least, he wasn't dumb enough to die here. "Dammit! We need to get out of here!" With no hesitation, Chrys slammed his fist down into the ground. Pillars of lightning came crashing down all around the foursome, creating an electrical fence of sorts. Only problem was that they couldn't pass it, lest they wanted to be electrocuted themselves. Well, that is, unless they could fly straight up.

"Can all of you fly? If not, grab onto me and I'll get out of here." Chrys locked his eyes onto the woman, he at the very least knew that the other two were lightning users so he was sure they could fly. This woman on the other hand, he had no clue on her abilities.

What had he done to deserve any of this? When he got out of this mess, he was going to be having a very lengthy conversation with Elaine about what all constituted public relations. It was hard to raise the public's opinion of yourself if you died in the process.

Regardless of his current situation, now was the time to focus on his surroundings. Since he'd arrived to help the scantily clad man, two others had shown up. One was a man with crimson hair clad in an ivory white coat that utilized some form of white lightning, a deep contrast to the blue and red lightning that had been thrown around not a moment earlier, and then there was the blonde woman that had made an... interesting entrance. One glance at her told Chronos all he needed to know about her, his face contorting into a scowl of disgust. Based on how she dressed, she was either a woman of pleasure, or just some brat seeking attention from the world around her, looking to use her looks to get her way. Turning his attention to the creatures that had approached as he looked upon his new company, Chronos swiped his arm through the air, letting loose a crimson lightning storm upon the creatures in the area. The bolts of lightning he called forth rained down from the skies above to pierce through the heads of the abominations surrounding them on all sides. He only ended this rain of devastation when a fence of blue lightning appeared to keep the crystalline monstrosities out. Turning his head to the blue lightning user, Chronos listened to what he had to say, though when he heard it, his frown only grew. As smart as it was, he really didn't like the idea of retreating. That was something that cowards did, not something that the great Chronos Aeternus Kasier would do!

So it was a good thing that, for the time being, he was instead Rathallion de Uriel.

"I would bet on the Uriel name that your little lightning trick, while impressive, won't last very long, so it would be prudent if we didn't waste any time. You, the blonde one. I have no idea what you are capable of, or if you are capable of flight, so in the name of the Uriel family, I apologize if this gets slightly uncomfortable." With his declaration made, Chronos rushed the blonde, quickly crouching down and picking the girl up over his shoulder. He had some difficulty standing up at first with her on his shoulder, as she was certainly heavier then she looked, but beofre long, he managed to stand up again before taking to the skies above them as a streak of red lightning. To the others, they would see a large bolt of red lightning streaking into the sky before heading North, away from the horde... but to Alexis, she would see nothing but the landscape quickly passing by underneath her.

While waiting for a response from the other two, another person decided to brave the frigid labyrinth. This one a young woman with blond hair that seemed to not be doing so well with all of the lightning being thrown around and wearing clothes that didn’t seem suitable for the cold, but was at least better than what the one guy was wearing.

“I think we can find a spot for ya. And if not, we could make one.” Satoshi said smiling as he started attacking the creatures with glee as the man in skimpy attire acknowledged the two newcomers. Before too long though, the creatures let out a loud and almost earsplitting cry that caused Satoshi to stop his assault to cover up his ears

"Now I have even more reason to wipe these things from existence." Satoshi said as the creatures stopped their howls. Looking back out at the creatures, Satoshi noticed that their numbers had quickly multiplied from just a short while ago. "Ohohohoho, yes! This is gonna be the most fun I've had in a long while!" He said excitedly as he readied himself to go after the horde. Before he got a chance to though, the skimpy-clothed man called down several pillars of lightning around the group.

“Seriously?” Satoshi asked with a deflated look on his face. “I was just starting to have fun too. Well, my good mood's gone now. Here, you take back over. I’m done.” He said as the normal personality took over.

"That's gonna be fun to deal with later. I can already tell." Satoshi said as Skimpy Clothes Man asked if everyone could fly and if not that they should grab on. "I can, but I'm not sure about her." He said as he gestured over at the young woman.

Before he could ask if she was alright with him flying her out of this mess, the man in the suit picked her up and slung her over his shoulder like a burlap sack. "No need to be so rough with her." He said as the man took off in a streak of red lightning. "Guess we're good to go then." He said to Skimpy Clothes Man as he took off himself in a streak of white lightning following the fancy man's path in the sky.

As Alexis landed and made her comment to the boys, she could hear the faint scowling of the ice creatures behind her. A shiver going down her spine as she let out a yell, her fist raising into the air and thrusting forward towards the beast as a small ball of flame engulfed her hand taking its shape before firing off into the beast melting a hole right through its center before the beast crumbled to the ground. Shaking her hand dusting off her pants she smiled again at her company, the red haired man was definitely an interesting one but the other two were nothing to ignore even if one of them seemed... reserved... It was... Mysterious.

But before she could admire them anymore lightning pillars seemed to enclose them into a small group, then she was asked if she could fly... Thinking as though this was a completely obserred thing to ask, not many people could really fly but before she knew it the mysterious man had already grabbed her and pulling her over his shoulder she let out a scream before covering her mouth and looking at the two boys that she was now facing whilst hanging over this strangers shoulder.

Her face a bright red before what felt like a jolt as the mysterious man raised into the air, the area around her started to get smaller and smaller as she let out another scream hitting the mysterious man on the back. "How dare you treat a lady like this! I swear when you put me down I'mma teach you a thing or too about respecting women!"

He eyes glanced back down as she could see the cute red head's lightning for but a split second, they must have been travelling at an extremely fast speed. Letting out a sigh she stopped struggling and simply took in the sites. "You better not be a pervert." She said whilst pouting even if he couldn't hear her, she would definitely repeat this later.
