| Shara was born on naboo to the noble house of Kelora and had sister who was 9 years older than her. Her mother was among a short list of candidates for the next election for queen. She was strong in the force from a very early age. By age four, her parents discovered her force sensitivity. They knew the jedi had a system watchman on-world and summoned him to their house. After a brief conversation, Shara was taken to the temple on coruscant.
Shara spent the next six years training hard in the jedi arts. When she was ten years old she was at the top of her class in force studies and philosophy and among the top ten duelists for initiates. No master would take her however, they believed it was too soon for her and feared she'd develop an overconfident attitude and un-jedi-like behavior. However, the wait didn't bother her, it only helped her perfect her basic skills. By age fourteen, a jedi master by the name of Jaheen saw how she behaved and trained and felt she was ready, and took Shara to be his apprentice. Shara followed her master's instruction carefully, and due to her learning curve as an initiate, she was a quick study. She soon built her own lightsaber, a dual ended saber with purple blades. Her path however was clearly that of the consular. Jaheen took Shara on assignments so she could better understand things like diplomacy, and culture. On many assignments Shara was led to sick or wounded civilians. naturally she treated them as best she could, many of which she was able to bring back to full recovery, but there were others whom she wasn't able to save. She carries the memories of those souls with her, always striving to do better.
During their travels, they occasionally went back to Shara's home of Naboo. When she was 18 she found her sister had married and was now the Queen of Naboo and had a son named Cedric who was now 9 years old. Shara would often spend time with her sister, telling her all about her travels with her master. During one of their conversations she found out her nephew was force sensitive but they worried that cedric wouldn't be accepted at his age so they never sent him. After their trip to Naboo, Jaheen took Shara back to coruscant and brought her before the Council. He felt she was ready for the trials. However the high council was more cautious due to her family ties. They agreed to her trials, but they would make them harder than ever. Instead of going through the trial chambers in the temple itself, they sent her on a journey through the galaxy to complete her's.
For her trial of skill, they sent her to Nar Shaddaa to aid the Hutt's in putting down a rebellion. The Jedi needed the Hutt's to give them continued access through their hyperspace lanes. Shara had to fight through many battles in order to convince the rebels to surrender. She had known going into this assignment, that the rebels were going to lose and it would be a massacre. Sending her in was the only way to save lives. When that task was complete she returned to the Hutt. The Hutt, instead of giving her the promised reward, tricked her and dropped her into his animal pit. She had to fight off the beasts to escape. Her hardest was a pack of kath hounds that had been genetically altered. She had to find her courage to face insane odds. Once she had escaped, it took little effort to get the Hutt to fulfill the deal. Two trials completed. Her next trial was to go to a system strong in the force and meditate. She found an old cave system on dantooine that felt powerful to her. She spent hours meditating. She received a vision. She saw her sister and the king of naboo lying dead. Her heart raced as she felt the bitter pain of loss. Not 10 feet away stood a masked figure. She faced the stranger, igniting her lightsaber. The masked woman ignited a red blade and charged at Shara. They dueled viciously. After what felt like hours, Shara cut away the mask from her opponents face. She gasped as she saw her own darkness. At first she wanted to keep fighting, but she remembered her training and instead tossed aside her lightsaber. She refused to acknowledge the existence of her darkness. The woman charged and vanished just as her blade would've killed Shara, who immediately awoke from her vision to find herself back in the cave. She still felt the pain of loss from her vision. It felt surreal to her. Knowing her own emotional state and her bond to her sister, she understood now what she had to do. She accepted the fact that her sister may day in any way imaginable. Her trials took her a good two years to fully complete. She returned to the temple on her twentieth birthday. She was brought before the council and gave her report of her trials. With her trials done, the council was in full agreement, and shara became a Jedi Knight.
Six months after Shara's promotion to knighthood, the New Republic and the splintered remains of the Empire launched a massive purge. They hunted down and started massacring jedi and sith alike everywhere. Shara along with her former master Jaheen managed to escape the bombardment of the jedi temple on Coruscant. They ditched their jedi transport somewhere in the mid-rim and used local transportation to get to naboo. Shara knew her sister would protect them from this insanity. They had to disguise themselves in order to prevent detection as well as carry forged documentation. Once on Naboo Shara made contact with her sister the Queen. The Queen and her husband both agreed to give them sanctuary. Shara as a handmaiden and Jaheen as a royal advisor. The only people who knew who they were, were the King and Queen themselves.
Shara and Jaheen grew quite comfortable living in the palace serving the king and queen. Shara spent most of her time tending to her sister or her nephew who had no idea who she was except that she was a new handmaiden. Jaheen aided the king with the politics of the system. They enjoyed a peaceful year with them. Unfortunately it was not to last. Early one morning, Shara walked into the bedroom of her sister and her husband and found the king dead and her sister taking her last breaths. Her sister begged her to take Cedric away for safety. Fearing a possible assassination, she had Jaheen cover her while she took her nephew. It baffled Shara what could've caused the deaths of her sister and the king. There was no clear indication of murder as of yet and she thought for sure they were in good health. However, as she was fleeing the palace with cedric, A shot went off and Jaheen was hit in the shoulder. They ducked for cover round a corner of a building. Jaheen pulled out a holo and gave it to Shara, telling her to activate it once she and cedric were safe. He then ordered her to run. At first reluctant, Shara obeyed and picked up cedric before running out of sight. Jaheen stayed behind to take on their pursuer. Jaheen had long suspected someone was on to them being jedi, this attack on them outside the palace was proof for him. He died by sniper fire out on the main street outside the palace.
Shara, being the only one now able to take care of her nephew, took him to the moon of Naboo to hide. Using the money she 'acquired' from her sisters royalty, she purchased a large property that no one else would buy due to claims of it being 'haunted'. The facility was old and run down, and after some investigation, she discovered it was a small jedi outpost, much like the ancient dantooine enclave. She was surprised that there was no record of it mentioned in the archives of the jedi temple. After establishing the property as their new home, she knew she had to have a heart to heart with her nephew but she left out bits of information such as the fact she was his aunt. She did tell him that she was asked by his mother to look after him and train him in the jedi arts.
Shara began to raise Cedric and teach him everything she knew. She taught him what it truly meant to have nobility, that it wasn't just a simple matter of bloodline heritage, that it was something earned within yourself. She taught him morality, how to discern right from wrong, the difference between vengeance/revenge and true justice. She also trained him in the jedi arts. Reinforcing her teachings to improve his mind first, then got to work on training him physically. Jedi had to be quick, clever, persceptive, understanding, humble and honorable. She grew to raise him almost as if he was her own son, but she knew she couldn't care for him the way his mother could. Not to mention her dedication to the old ways forced her to restrain herself sometimes. She treated him like family as well as like an equal, not like a child. Though there were many times where he was a pain to handle. Raising a prince was certainly a monumental task. They would also celebrate their birthdays together, always ensuring to have a little fun once in a while. Over the years she had almost forgotten entirely about the holo that Jaheen gave her. On Cedric's eighteenth birthday, she gave him the most difficult thing she could give to anyone, the complete truth. While she did tell him the truth about his parents, she didn't tell him everything. She explained to him the full story of his parents death as well as ensuring he knew that they had no clue as to the cause of it. With his parents being dead, Cedric was the rightful heir to the throne despite the current government on Naboo. Now that he was of proper age, Shara explained that it was his destiny to reclaim the throne of his father and mother, but in doing so he would have to leave his jedi training incomplete. She left him alone to think on the matter. Meanwhile she took out the holo that she had tucked away and played the message. Jaheen had left her instructions, with the purge of the jedi order it was unclear how many survivors, if any, still existed. Her task now was to find the last survivors and unite them in rebuilding the order once again. As, quite possibly, one of the last true masters, he was giving her full authorization to lead this new order. The next day, Shara and Cedric gave their goodbyes as Cedric would now leave the moon to return to Naboo and claim the throne. Shara, with her path now set before her, would travel the galaxy and find the remaining jedi as well as recruit any force sensitive people. She would use the enclave on the Naboo moon as their base of operations until they could establish a real temple under a more discreet location.
