Here they are, the rules. Read them, obey them as best you can, and things'll be great. As you can see, there are two sections. the first is for the general chat area, and the second is for the Role Playing area. Note: These can change at any time, without warning. General Rules 1. No one under the age of 13, please. This is because this RP is for more mature players and may include violence, adult situations and language not suitable for people under that age. 2. Keep your post PG. This means no excessive vulgarity, nothing sexually explicit, and regulated violence. Disobeying this rule will result in a warning or, in extreme causes, banning. 3. No double posting unless more than 24 hours have passed. 4. Please respect your fellow RPers. Any arguments are to be taken care of privately. RP Rules 1. No god-moding. This means your character can get hurt and can lose and is not overpowered to the point where no one can even touch him.. 2. All RP posts must be at least 100 words long, in sentence form using proper grammar and spelling. 3. Please remain active. If you will not be able to play for an extended amount of time, explain this BEFOREHAND. If possible, give you character(s) a reason to be inactive (i.e. being sick in infirmary, visiting family, etc). 4. You cannot kill another character controlled by an RPer without the players express permission. 5. Out of Character (OoC) is to be kept to OoC forums or marked by ((…)) or OoC labelling in an RP post. Please keep these short and do not make a completely OoC post in an RP thread. That’s what the discussion threads are for. The following is the procedure for proposing an RP. Please follow these rules or your RP may be deleted. 1. Propose RP in the “Proposed RP” folder. According to interest from other players and the quality of the proposal, the RP will be approved by a moderator or the admin and moved to the approved RP folder. This thread will then become the discussion thread for that RP. 2. Characters are created and posted in the “Character Profiles” folder. 3. A new thread is created for the RP. The first entry is to have the proposal as was approved and a list of the players and characters as well as any other information that may be needed. 4. Enjoy the RP! Note: In this way, each RP will have three threads. Proposal/OoC Disscussion, a Character thread, and the actual RP. Seems like alot, but it'll be good for orgainizing things, I think... |
