Skillcards come in many varieties. The way it’s set up here, rank actually defines a skill card’s power, and each rank has it’s own set of light parameters. As each skillcard varies by property and nature, this doesn’t cover every single skillcard known, it’s only a reference to certain aspects. That being said. Some A/B ranked skillcards are locked to certain Professions, although it's mostly common sense. (No Kenjutsu practitioner with Lion's Barrage, etc) If you want to make a custom icon for your skillcard, the size is 75x75 and you should include a border around whatever image you use. Don't be afraid to ask for help making them, the community has some people who're adept at it, and the admins generally can do it too. D-ranked skill cards (Requires T1 profession for Elemental jutsu) Examples: One-Inch Punch, Dynamic Entry Skillcards that are listed as D-rank are relatively simple in execution, nothing too fancy. A swift kick, a strong jab and the likes. Skillcards that are placed under D-rank are to have only a single action performed in them, and these moves are typically those used multiple times in a combat scenario. These specific techniques are usually basic, but are not limited in terms of how they can be augmented. Jutsu-wise, these usually are very basic jutsu and will rarely be seen. Their use is minimal and they usually cannot damage the opponent. C-ranked skill cards (Requires T1 profession) Examples: Uzumaki Barrage, Lion’s Barrage, Leaf Whirlwind, Parrying + Guard Break, Flurry attacks. Skillcards that are listed under C-rank aren’t exactly just a cut above D-ranked skill cards in terms of power. C-ranked skill cards can be defined as skill cards that have more than just a single action being performed. These types of skill cards are the ones that involve multiple attacks within them of varying nature, essentially attack combos. These skill cards are not limited to melee combat, however, as a great deal of other techniques are listed as C-ranked. If you’re unsure, ask an admin. Jutsu-wise, these are the techniques you'll see more commonly used. Characters will typically have numerous of those and two of them are required to get the second tier of an elemental proficiency. B-ranked skill cards (C- Grade and T2 profession required) Examples: Primary Lotus, Oni Giri (One piece), Naruto Uzumaki 2k Barrage Now we’re getting to the more high-leveled and fun stuff. B-ranked skillcards are what could be universally known as skillcards used to decisively end a match. These particular skillcards often times leave the user with a drawback in some form, although deals a substantial amount of damage should the enemy get hit. Although they don’t have any type of correct format aside from Skill cards listed under B rank are cards that aren’t used leisurely in a fight. Think of them as signature finishing moves until higher levels(B-Rank or above,) at which point they could shift to bread and butter. Jutsu-wise, these are the bigger techniques that can end fights at Chuunin level with a single use or turn the situation around despite the odds. They're more powerful jutsu that can feasibly kill an opponent or are simply an elemental wall. Fusion elements will have the majority of their jutsu start at this level, seeing as they're much more dangerous than the basic natures. A-ranked skill cards (C+ Grade and T3 professsion required) Examples: Asakujaku, Iaido moves, Uzumaki 5k Barrage. There’s not much to say about A-ranked skill cards except for the fact that they are in fact the most elite. A-rank skillcards combine elements from the three mentioned prior, and take it to the next level in terms of power. These particular cards are those that leave nothing but devastation in their wake. These are extremely rare. Jutsu-wise, these will be the greatest achievements of a character. They're often incredibly destructive and can take out more than one person at once. The majority of people will have few of those. Edited by Jumpy, Oct 6 2016, 10:18 AM.

Additionally, here's something that we should've actually put somewhere in the guide but never bothered to do so. Clan jutsu have an extra requirement due to the strength they come with. D-rank: D- C-rank: D+ B-rank: C+ A-rank: B- S-rank: B They also require whatever other regular requirement you'd have for them ie: A-ranks need T3 profession. |
