Doton is the Earth Release; it generally makes use of the pre-existing material across the world, but in times of need, users may produce earth from their mouth, or may produce mud specifically. Earth is one of the easier transformations, and is extremely versatile. It is generally effective for defense. Earth is exceptionally useful against water, but nearly useless against lightning. No clan holds a particular affinity for earth. There are no E-RANK jutsu at this time. |

C-RANK NAME: Doton: Otoshibuta RANK: C DESCRIPTION: The user creates a large, earthen lid high in the air that falls on the target, trapping them. The weight, at this size, is not enough to crush them. NOTE: COST: 175 NAME: Doton: Iwa Bunshin RANK: C DESCRIPTION: The user creates a clone made of Rock. It will not reform itself after being destroyed, but is physical in nature. NOTE: COST: 175 NAME: Doton: Doryuudan RANK: C DESCRIPTION: This technique creates a dragon-like head to shoot balls of earth at an opponent. If this technique is created with mud, it may shoot balls of mud that may be ignited by fire jutsu to send projectiles of searing hot rock at them. NOTE: COST: 175 NAME: Doton: Doryuso RANK: C DESCRIPTION: This technique lets the user condense mud or stone from the ground, and shape it into a spike in an attempt to skewer a target. It cannot penetrate objects of greater density. NOTE: COST: 175 NAME: Doton: Iwadeppo RANK: C DESCRIPTION: A small, bullet-sized rock is fired forth from one's mouth with great speed and force. It rapidly expands in size, quickly becoming a boulder. NOTE: COST: 200 NAME: Rock Shelter RANK: C DESCRIPTION: The user surrounds themselves with earth, taken from the immediate vicinty and creates a formation of rock capable of protecting both the user and others in close proximity. Doing so seemingly leaves the surrounding terrain unaltered. The user can manipulate the shelter to have openings. NOTE: COST: 150 NAME: Earth Flow River RANK: C DESCRIPTION: The user transforms the ground underneath their opponent into a river of mud, that throws them off balance and away from the user. This mud can be used as a medium for most mud related techniques. NOTE: COST: 200 NAME: Earth Release Flying Thrown Stones RANK: C DESCRIPTION: The user can form nearby ground into rock projectiles, and throw them at the opponent. NOTE: COST: 150 NAME: Doton: Tearing Earth Turning Palm RANK: C DESCRIPTION: This technique causes the ground surrounding the enemy to spiral inward on itself, burying them alive, or crushing them. This is technique can cause a bit of damage to the area, and is much more dangerous in rocky ares, or inside a cave. NOTE: COST: 250 Edited by Bonga, Sep 7 2016, 08:54 PM.

B-RANK NAME: Doton: Doryuuheki RANK: B DESCRIPTION The user creates a solid wall of earth as a form of defence. Chakra is either converted to earth within the body and then spat out to form the wall or the user can manipulate pre-existing earth to form the wall. The earth then instantly rises up and takes form. The barrier itself is also coated with chakra, making its strength incomparable to that of a normal mud wall. Because of the earth's special characteristics, the wall is highly resistant against, for instance, fire and water. NOTE: COST: 275 NAME: Doton: Arijigoku no Jutsu RANK: B DESCRIPTION: This technique can cause everything on and around it to be sucked into the middle of a large pit. The victim may be trapped, or suffocate. The range is determined by the amount of chakra put into it. NOTE: Unique. COST: 275 NAME: Earth Prison Dome of Magnificent Nothingness RANK: B DESCRIPTION: This technique traps the victim inside a self-repairing dome of earth, which is almost instantaneously able to reform, even under constant attack. The user may absorb the chakra of those trapped inside, allowing them to repair the dome with the chakra. NOTE: Unique. COST: 400 NAME: Doton: Ganban Kyu RANK: B DESCRIPTION: This technique allows the user to control multiple sections of rock and move them around their opponent. The user then forms two gigantic sections that crush the opponent. NOTE: COST: 350 NAME: Doton: Kegan no Jutsu RANK: B DESCRIPTION: By encasing their arm in rock, the user can deal a powerful hardened punch against an opponent while being protected from direct contact with their target. If necessary, the weight of the rock can be increased to further increase the punch's destructive power. NOTE: Unique. COST: 350 Edited by Bonga, Sep 1 2016, 09:28 PM.

A-RANK NAME: Doton: Kage Bunshin RANK: A DESCRIPTION: This technique creates a shadow clone made of mud of the user. Since it is made of mud, it can continue to reform and mold itself back to its original shape. Once reverted to mud, the clone can serve as a powerful restraint that is capable of completely halting the opponents movements. NOTE: Requires Kage Bunshin. COST: 400 NAME: Doton: Yomi Numa RANK: A DESCRIPTION: By changing the surface of an object beneath the target into mud and creating a swamp, the user can sink their target into the mud. The adhesive, chakra-infused mud ensnares the body, making it almost impossible to escape. The size of the depth depends on the user, but an expert can make a fair-sized swamp which is effective against a great number of users, or when having to face a gigantic creature. NOTE: Unique. COST: 500 Edited by Bonga, Aug 13 2016, 02:11 AM.
