Tampa, Florida. Location of the next RWR Resurgence. Home of RWR's Hero and World Heavyweight Champion. Standing infront of an RWR interview stage, proudly displays his newly won RWR World Heavyweight Championship across his abdomen. "A hard fought weekend. But already, we must look beyond. Past the shattered ceiling that I and the RWR have paved our way through, and into the brilliant tomorrow that awaits us all. But for myself, dark clouds loom on the horizon. Or to some of you, three deadly poisons. The first.. Jack Johnson. My old teammate. Road buddy. Mid laner. And Villain extrordinare. And most importantly, the man I defeated for this glorious belt I wear around me. At lot of people might lean towards JJ for a rematch, especially since many think that he had the advantage for most of bout. And they aren't wrong. But they also might not understand the strategies at play. You see, I believe Jack Johnson's strategy was to cut off any and all momentum I tried to build. Preparing for the various striked and attacks I use to break and wear down my opponents. Then grind me down until I was ready for the finishing blow. But THAT is where my strategy kicked in. I planned for his finish, the Guillotine Choke. Arguably one of the most leathal submission holds of this year. I placed a pet on my durability, my resiliency. That if I could weaken his arm, I could avoid the Guillotine for long enough to land a decisive blow. And.. well, we know the outcome. But I know you JJ. I know you aren't content to just sit back. And you certainly are one to learn from mistakes. I know you'll adapt and evolve for next time. And so will I. But, he isn't the only one I have to be concerned with. For the Devil waits, but doesn't sleep. King Krimson, the man formerly known as Max Krimson has had his evil, sanguine gaze on me for some time. And he isn't one to let things go easily. In fact, it was because I beat him months before that I got to where I am now. And I'm sure it burns in the back of his mind, that if he had beaten me, he would be standing here before you in my place. But you didn't. And you aren't. Don't think I haven't noticed Krimson. Your army grows along with your ambition. You don't plan on stopping until RWR is overrun with Red. Well allow me to be the white out that puts a stop to your vile ink. I made a vow once to protect the federation I was in from the takeover of people like yourself. And it's a vow I make for RWR as well. Which leads me.. to the third. If the Red is the rivers of blood that run across the land.. then he is that corrupting fog that rolls in from across the seas. Many of you might be unaware, but when I first got my start in the major leagues of professional wrestling, there were some that reached a hand out to help train me. To prepare me for the roads ahead. And I like to think they did a good job. Taught me what it meant to be a champion. To be a professional wrestler. Once upon a time, I might have been able to call the Roger's Foundation home. Hell, it was with their move that I was able to advance and win my first championship. But I knew I had to carry on by myself, to learn more and discover myself. I don't know what happened to you in our time apart Jake. But you aren't the same man who helped train me. But I am not the same rookie you helped tutor. We've never battled on a main stage like this. But on my path, I've wandered many roads. Some good, some bad. But what has emerged is a pure form. A born fighter. I will not be as gullible or easily fooled as I was before. If we face off, you will have the fight of your life. But, before I can focus on any of you, this week lies a different fight. This week, I team up with the 'Ace', Razor Sharp. You and I still have our own differences to work out. But I know.. it wasn't all your doing. You had your hands tied as well, and I understand that. But know that while I carry this Championship, I do not acknowledge you as the 'Ace of RWR'. Because right now, that would be me. But differences aside, we face a greater problem. The Villain and The Demon. Each of us have shown that one on one we can overcome our evil shadows. This friday.. lets see how they do with assistance." |
