Hello, shalom, bonjour, guten tag.

I am Eli Hesial, and while I am one of the newest people, I understand how government works and can lead the newly formed Citizen Assembly into glorious ways.

Goals as Speaker

1. Outlawing of fraud to make sure no law is passed through a lie to get votes.

2. Amendment to fix the current Justiar and Citizen's Assembly question by making it so Justiars are exempt from serving on the Citizen's Assembly, thus allowing them to continue Justiar.

3. A new article in the Bill of Rights would hopefully be passed, allowing for the freedom to form political parties.

I will hope once the polls open up, you vote for the man who can lead to the future.

How do you equate your first goal with the criminal code section that states
Quote:

Section 7 - Corruption

1. A public official is guilty of corruption if they use the powers of their office as a means to further the personal interests of themselves or their allies.
2. The sentence upon conviction for corruption shall be removal from public office and a ban on holding any public office for an amount of time to be determined by the trial justiciar.

To clarify, were you aware that there was a section of the criminal code that equates to fraud?

When reading the criminal code, no law directly states this as fraud.

"wrongful or criminal deception intended to result in financial or personal gain." The big definition of fraud. That is what I intend to do.

Correct. However, the criminal code does have an offense that could be considered on the level of corruption.

That is correct. But, a double charge of fraud and corruption would be logical. To be corrupt you would most likely have committed fraud, and visa versa.
