This information was super cool to read. With testimonies, we are naturally flawed because they are largely based on memory and contain bias. It is still really interesting to understand the impact that The Farkers had on raiding from the people who were around then. They had to have been one of the first group of people to come to NationStates together. Here were these players joining this fairly new game and wondering what can we do as a team? What can we accomplish if we are organized and intentional? This mindset in many ways set the foundation for what raiding organizations are today. The Farkers also used their power to influence GCRs, mainly The East Pacific. It was not enough for them to simply invade; they wanted to make a difference in the game. Without The Farkers, I wonder how long it would have taken raiders to see the potential they had to influence the game. When would have invaders become more mainstream and involved in politics? Thanks to The Farkers, raiding has progressed to where we are today. What are your thoughts? What kind of impact do you think The Farkers had on raiding and NS? |

"Nope!"

I think the Farkers would consider today's raiding tame, granted without personal knowledge of them, but just based on general knowledge of the era
