New players are vital to the success of raiding in the present and future. A major component of R/D is not just recruitment, but retention. Two themes that I saw from these interviews that have helped these players stick around in NS include community and the level of raiding activity in region. New players want to be engaged immediately, but a region must also make sure that they feel supported. When discussing raiding mentors, the interviewees mentioned the players that taught them the basics and skills to succeed in the practice. This is a reminder to raiding leaders that they have a lasting impression on new players. Overall, these are just of some of the new raiders we see today that are part of the future. They each bring their own style and goals to the game. What are your thoughts to best connect with new players? Any takeaways from the interviews? |

I do find it a bit ironic on the fact that I mentioned Vapid working with me on better banjecting fendas and then I ended up needing to do so for the RaiderCon Op. |
