http://www.wbaltv.com/news/13462648/detail.html ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Annapolis police raided the wrong apartment Wednesday night, using flash grenades and kicking a resident in the groin area before they realized their mistake. A police spokesman said something must have gone amiss in the briefing beforehand. Silvia Bernal, 30, told The Annapolis Capital that about 15 officers burst through the front door of her apartment while she was cooking dinner. She said the officers kicked her husband in the groin area while she fled into a bedroom. Police spokesman Hal Dalton said police don't know how the mistake was made. He said they were supposed to have raided a different apartment on Primrose Avenue. Dalton called the incident regrettable. Spa Cove apartment manager Latisha Marshall said there is a large dent in the front door and there are two large black stains from the flash-bang grenades police deployed. http://www.wbaltv.com/news/13470971/detail.html ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Annapolis Mayor Ellen Moyer said the police department made a mistake when officers executed a drug raid at the wrong apartment on Wednesday. Moyer said Police Chief Joseph Johnson has assured her that the department is looking at its internal controls and accountability procedures to make sure it doesn't happen again. But Moyer disputed claims that the officers were overzealous. She said police can't be too zealous about fighting the drug trade in Annapolis. Moyer issued a news release including details from three recent drug arrests that came as a result of resident complaints. She said residents tell her every day that they want police to be tough on drugs and drug dealers. Fuck man. "Honey, whats for dinner.....ooooooomph." ![]() I edited the post. The links will likely expire in a few days and it should be easier to read this way. |

If all drugs were legal, none of this would happen, it's time govts stopped treating people as though they were stupid, because they are, and politicians are stupider, it's nothing to do with anyone else if people want to take drugs, it's their life. They're illegal because of the huge profits, and the corruption is to entrenched now for any change to the law. |
