Avandia - knew of the risks for years but worked to keep them from the public
Argentina - Tricked families into participating in experimental vaccine trial by telling them their children were receiving medical treatment
Fined $750 for knowingly selling 'adulterated' drugs
Lied that they went to the FDA themselves in 2002 out of safety concerns about the adulteration
Sued the South African Government for trying to supply AIDS victims with medicine they can afford
Emitts more carcinogens than almost any other chemical producer in the UK (10% of all carcinogens at last look)
Pays to prevent academic researchers reporting freely and fairly on the results of drug trials
Are drumming up support for a documentary about over-eating which, surprise surprise they have a drug (Alli) to 'cure'.
Supplied 172k tainted swine flu 'vaccines' in canada which caused adverse side effects
Adjuvant, monophosphoryl lipid A, has been linked to severe autoimmune disorders but they still use it

These are NOT the actions of an ethical and moral company; but hey, GSK is still better than Monsanto.

It's the first time I've heard of them.
Ethics aren't high on any pharmaceutical companies agenda.
Allowing these companies to get away with inadequate independent scrutiny, has always been a priority of the FDA and politicians.
Many poor countries can't afford the inflated prices being charged by the well know pharma companies.
The drugs they make can often be produced at a fraction of the cost. But if a poor country were to buy the generic brand they'd be persecuted.
The US links aid to these nations to a clause which forces them to buy brand name pharmaceuticals in US dollars at US prices.
Thousands of people die every year because of this policy.

No. Avandia.
I preferred them when they were (S K and F) Smith Kline and French, and made drinamyl. and marketed it as a weight loss drug.
Like any drug that has the effect of making you feel good, the government banned it.

Any drug, how about any THING. Everything that used to be fun and enjoyable is now banned.
They want us all watching dumbass reality TV shows and listening to the ignorant shock-jocks on the radio.
Hell, we already have fluoride (a chemical used for urban pacification) in our water; they're halfway there in their goal to create a slave class.
