a hero's not afraid to give his life
|
you; name; Coll contact information; PM please. <3 other characters; Just Sora~ basics; name; Sora age; Sixteen occupation; Keyblade Wielder, all purpose hero. race; Human in depth; appearance; My other least favorite section. Brown hair, fluffy, wears a complicated outfit filled with belts and whatnot. It's black and reddish. His eyes are blue. Eh, you know what. Eff it. Have a picture. picture; ![]() personality; Sora, in a nutshell, is happy, oblivious and thick all at once. This isn't to say he's a dumb ass. Because he isn't. Let's get that through our heads. Oblivious =/= dumbassery. The kid's got a heart of gold though. You're in pain? Sora will stop and try and help you. See an old lady crossing the street? That boyscout holding her hand is Sora. A bully's picking on you? That once-happy brown haired smiling kid beating the living shit out of the bully to help you out? That's Sora too. He's a hero. history; Kay guys, history lesson. Subject? Sora. So, long time ago, Sora was born on Destiny Islands, right? He's totally BFF with Riku and they ran around and did most things together--including compete. Sora's one of those glory hogs--especially when he was little, so he totally had to one-up Riku. This wasn't often the case, though. Still, they're very close friends. So, one day, some lady named Aqua comes to DI and makes some comments about Sora and Riku's friendship. Riku's your friend, right? The obvious answer? DUH. But Sora's a nice kid. He just gives his trade mark grin and all is well in the world. Until eventually this shimmery little heart thing pops over and is all "hey, I need a place in your heart." Sora pretty much responds with the equivalent, "okay, cool man, we'll have cool times." That would be Ventus. Years passed, somewhere along the way he and Riku met Kairi and they became a trio of AWESOME. MORE YEARS PASSED. Now we're going to condense the game of Kingdom Hearts in about a paragraph or so? You ready? *SUCKS BREATH IN* Sora's life changed the moment he found himself in possession of a gigantic key aptly named "the Keyblade." This key meant Destiny and Fate liked him a certain extent—which meant he was sent of on a saving the world mission. We follow? Cool. So, the trio's making this boat. The night they decide to set sail SHIT HITS THE FAN and darkness om nom nom noms the entire island (legit) and Kairi is lost somewhere and Riku is lost to the darkness. What does this tell you? Kids, don't make boats unless you're singing the Lonely Island song "I'm on a Boat." BAM. Sora ends up in Traverse Town, headscratching, thinking, man, this was a bad trip. Not really. so, he meets Donald and Goofy. (I still have no idea what Goofy is) and they have happy fun adventure time, Super Mario RPG style, only it's with keyholes instead of stars. Stuff happens. Somewhere along the lines Sora impales himself with his key, but it's all good because he comes and... yeah. At the end of KH1, Sora leaves Kairi to go after Riku. (Though, seriously Kairi, you could have totally leapt over that chasm.) The summary of CoM goes as following: Sora happens, everyone dies. Except Namine. Then he goes into a huge year long nap where his memories get screwed around with. KH2 is even simpler to sum up: THE ETERNAL QUEST TO FIND TRUE LOVE I MEAN RIKU. Along the way Sora finds out he has a Nobody and there's a giant acid trip of fighting his Nobody of which he comes out on top and a ton of stuff. Either way, Sora eventually finds Riku after doing a bunch of stuff. (Come on guys, why would you be here if you didn't play KH? You were there.) Together, they beat Ansem and go on home, where Kairi is waiting and all seems well, right? WRONG. That's pretty much it, in a nut shell. Why would you be here if you don't know anything about Kingdom Hearts? Anyways! And then he used said key to save his BFF, Riku. (He did that previously for Kairi.) Sora received a letter from King Mickey. The contents of the letter will remain hidden for the moment, but it compelled him to leave and begin a new adventure. He said goodbye to Kairi and Riku and threw himself into another peril less string of battles, to free those who needed help, put all fragments back into place and finally end the suffering of those who came before him--reconnect. finishing up; roleplay sample; ((x-pasted)) It hadn't been long since they had gotten out of the Realm of Darkness, honestly, when Sora brought Aqua back to Radiant Garden. Granted, they almost crashed a few times because Sora failed at driving his gummi ship, but, well. Sora didn't have a talent for driving a gummi ship. Not to mention they had to fight their way out and by the time they came back to the ship, it had been a harrowing escape and here they were. Sora thought it'd be... it'd be too painful to find residence at the Islands when things between him, Riku and Kairi were at a stand-still. Granted, Riku wasn't mad anymore, but he shouldn't have been angry to begin with. Sora had thought all was forgiven and even before then... ... was he mad because he had the darkness in him? Not to mention the little cues between Riku and Kairi that ousted him. Aqua didn't have anywhere to go, so the two of them found a place in Radiant Garden together, where Sora would curl up against her at night and tell her everything that made him ill inside--how he didn't understand. Why would his two best friends in the world hide anything from him? After he had done so much for them. He was never bitter, by no means, but inquisitive. "Why, Aqua," He'd ask. "I went to the ends of all worlds for the both of them. I forgave him for betraying me. I pushed back my hurt when Kairi forgot me. Why would they hide anything from me? Don't they see I won't be mad? I mean, I've let other things slide, so why shouldn't this be different? I love them, Aqua. I'll love them no matter what even if it hurts. Do they think I won't be able to take it? They're wrong. And Riku... Riku's hiding even more then that. They're not protecting me Aqua, because I will find out somehow." And she'd quietly ruffle his hair and rub his back soothingly, hold on to him and assure him that everything would be okay. He believed her, too. Sora would believe anything that came out of her mouth. It was such a short amount of time that they had known, but he revered her. She was the sister he never had and he could see that the more they adjusted to life together. She didn't mind how disgusting he was when he ate and tried to teach him etiquette, show him how to aim with his magic. She encouraged him. She was warm. It didn't take long for Sora to love her and cling to her side, jump into her bed at night and latch to her, make her try all of his favorite foods, everything. Really, Sora could be like a little adoring puppy with his tail perpetually wagging, though, right now, he felt down-trodden. So, he took a walk around Radiant Garden while she was out, most likely food shopping, buying him healthy food. (Pah. Healthy. Sora was just going to pour cheese all over it anyway.) Something about the town calmed him at the moment and he found himself walking, walking... until he came to the watery-fountain area. He tilted his head and came closer to the edge. The water wasn't too terribly high, though, not high enough to soak his pants to is knees. He remembered recently, riding the spouting fountains and laughing as he had done so, from one platform to the next. Today, a trio of baby ducks and their mother were floating along, quacking to themselves as they scooted along. Sora smiled brightly, all of the rueful traces in his face otherwise vanishing. The ducks swam closer and quacked simultaneously at him. He jammed his hand in his pocket and threw some bread from his lunch toward them. The babies peeped and swarmed around. Sora slid to the side and sat, as the ducks lightly poked at him. He gingerly pet their heads. Well, Sora could make any sort of friends, human or not. The babies, fuzzy still from being recently born all flapped their wings merrily and Sora splashed in the water, laughing mirthfully to himself. "Did you know I wasn't feeling well, little guys?" He whispered and the ducks all peered at each other, cheeping and peeping as he gave them more bread. member title; blahblah anything else; ![]() |
