Name Lea Pre-Nobody ![]() Age Lea appears to be 15, so... ^^; Yeah. LEA'S AGE HAS BEEN CHANGED TO 15 EVERYONE. UPDATE. UPDATE. UPDATE. Hometown Radiant Gardens, around Ansem the Wise’s castle. He lived with Isa, who later became Saïx, in a regular house with his mother and younger sister. Current Location Lea is currently a bit of a nomad, and travels a lot. He’s currently residing in Hollow Bastion for a short time, but plans to move on to Twilight Town soon. Fandom Birth By Sleep in the Kingdom Hearts series. Additional Info I’ve never tried to play Lea before… It might take me a little bit to get used to him. Oh, and also, because Lea is such a minor character, I’m filling in some of the gaps with information of my own creation. Other Characters Xaldin, Loz, and Shayde. How he is here A Nobody is made of the shell, or body, and the soul when the heart is removed. When ‘Lea’ became ‘Axel’, his heart became a Heartless. When he faded, his body was returned to Kingdom Hearts and was split in two, his heart splitting in half also. The soul claimed possession of one half, which regenerated into a full body, and was taken away. The force of becoming a humanoid Nobody is violent and strong; everything splits in two. Half of the whole goes to Kingdom Hearts and resides there, sleeping. It grows into a full other half. A Nobody is actually but half a being, without the heart. It just grew into a full body and soul. The other half stays in Kingdom Hearts, still regenerating. This process takes several years, as the heart must grow into its fullest again, along with the soul and body. Once this process is complete, an unconscious clone of the original whole is formed, and released from Kingdom Hearts after a short while. This whole regeneration process must be started, however – like a jump start. This ‘jump start’ is the fading of the Nobody. So, half the soul and half the body becomes the Nobody, half the heart becomes a Heartless, and half of each becomes the clone of the whole, which has the same drives, goals, memories, and dreams of the original. It’s like cutting a worm into sixths – they regenerate into full beings. History Lea lived a good, happy life overall, and he was very close to his best friend, Isa. After his father (who was a scientist in Ansem’s Castle) died experimenting on something top-secret in Ansem’s Castle after a machine malfunctioned and exploded, he was crushed by grief. He lived with his mother and younger sister, and eventually got through the grieving period with the assistance of Isa and his mother. He had one thing, technically two things, that he kept very close to him, as his father had given them to him when he was very young – two spiked, hard disks. He never put them down. He hung out with Isa every day, playing in the courtyards, fields, and streets of his childhood home. He was a very rebellious and curious boy, and wondered just what the scientists in Ansem the Wise’s castle worked on so constantly. He discussed this with Isa often, and the two boys agreed they’d enter one day. Years passed, and a boy came. He had spiky, blonde hair and blue eyes. He never learned his name, but he definitely learned how brave he was. He wasn’t afraid to fight, and Lea respected that. They sparred, and Lea lost, though he’d never admit it. He took his loss well, however, making jokes and talking to the boy. When they left, he realized he’d forgotten to ask for his name and regretted this – he liked this boy. He had a strange feeling they’d meet again, though, and passed it off. He never forgot about the blonde. This was the day Lea and Isa had decided to go into the castle, anyway. They snuck inside and immediately noticed the lack of security. No one was in the halls; there were no guards to be found, and not a scientist in sight. Everything was eerily silent. Lea and Isa weren’t fazed by this at all; in fact, they found it exciting. They went on, checking every door and marveling at what they saw. There were strange heart-shaped things floating in containers, beakers, strange new smells; they were amazed. Finally, as they went to leave, Lea noticed a door. It was well-hidden in the shadows, and quite small. Of course, they were immediately seized by curiosity. Why else would a door be hidden in the dark if there was nothing to hide? They tried to open the door, but it was locked. Lea desperately wanted to go inside and Isa did too, almost as much as he. Lea knew that doors may be locked, so he’d stolen a small Swiss army knife and sneaked it into his pocket. Lea pulled it out and successfully picked the lock. The door swung open, and nothing could be seen but stairs downward. They’d found the basement! Isa pulled out a flashlight he’d brought along and the two boys went down the stairs. There was a flash of heat, and Lea blacked out. Lea woke up outside his home, feeling groggy and… different somehow. He then noticed that his house was burnt down, his family nowhere in sight. He soon realized he’d been asleep for a while; it was twelve years after the day he and Isa had investigated the castle. Lea explored the town, and found no one. He heard a strange whooshing noise behind him, and saw a strange, dark swirling mass. He looked at it, trying to decide to approach it or not, but curiosity got the better of him, and he appeared in a strange, hot world he later learned was called Agrabah. Lea discovered he loved traveling, and became a nomad. He’s visited many other worlds after that. |
