Age: His exact age is unknown, but his age appears to be about 23.

Hometown: Unknown

Current Location/Right Now: Wandering around the worlds, searching desperately for his brothers.

Fandom: Final Fantasy (Advent Children)

Other Characters: Lea, Xaldin, and Shayde

History: When Loz died in the explosion, trying to avenge his brother, he was sent… somewhere. Where, he didn’t know. He just… Drifted. He remembered almost nothing. “Almost” because… He’d never forget Yazoo and Kadaj, ever. He loved his brothers, and felt incomplete without them. He forgot how he’d died, who he had been fighting, and even forgot his own name, for a short while.
Yet his brothers’ names and faces remained etched in his memory, all that time.
Eventually, his memory started coming back to him, in small, painful waves. He remembered who he was, first, but not what he’d done. Then he’d remembered Big Brother Cloud, and why he hated him – because his little brothers did, too. Finally, he remembered part of his death.
He remembered the strange rain.
Loz felt the rain, and at first, he hated it. He was angry at it. He felt it was trying to take him from his brothers, and he tried to flee from it. But there’s no running from the rain, and soon, he felt himself melting away into oblivion.
Loz drifted in the light, his blissful oblivion. He used this time that he couldn’t train or fight (as he was suspended in the light) to think. He thought everything over, from the beginning. Mother, his brothers, everything that his mind could manage to comprehend, he thought it all over, front and back. He always felt his brothers there, for some reason, even though they had to be far away. He loved his light.
This sweet bliss did not last, though. Loz’s light was soon permeated by the dark. At first, when he saw it coming, he panicked. He didn’t want to go from the light. Then it got to him, and it just hurt. He’d never felt that hurt before. It was tearing him apart from the inside, he was sure. He wanted it gone. And then the darkness took over, and he blacked out.
Loz awoke, a strange, unsettling feeling in his chest. The feeling was just the first hint, though. After a while, he realized… his body was not his own. When he tried to stand, he stayed laying on the ground. He tried to blink, but his eyes didn’t blink. He felt like a puppet. His body didn’t move right. It wasn’t his to control.
At first, he enjoyed it. He didn’t have to work at all. He just “laid back” and let himself move. He simply watched as he tore apart people’s chests, releasing weird heart-shaped things that flew into the sky and disappeared. He simply observed as he met odd-looking black creatures with long antenna, and understood what they said, even though they were speaking a language he didn’t know. He simply watched as he spoke back things he would never say in the same tongue.
Soon, though, he got bored, and felt that he should be looking for his siblings. So he began to take back his body, starting with simple things like twitching his finger or blinking his eyes. Little did he know that the Novashadow that had taken control of him was slowly taking on Loz’s appearance the more control he took. Soon, Loz had his body back, and began searching for his siblings.
A valiant search which resulted in his meeting Angeal in Destiny Islands, and learning of honor and true power. This new knowledge converted Loz to the side of good, and Loz returned to Radiant Gardens with Angeal to help start the Sentinals. The bulldozer abandoned his Brothers with only one requirement for them to be reaccepted; they had to convert to the side of good. He stayed with the Sentinals as a sort of substitute for Sephiroth, his former older brother.
