you;

name; Rose, or Ciel, or whatever you chose to call me! ^^ I could care less, and I love my nicknames~
contact information; You can reach me by Email or by Skype! My Skype name is Eatingbagelslikeaboss! Just explain who you are if you message me
other characters; None as of current, though I would like the chance to do some more characters! ^^

basics;

name; Ciel Phantomhive.
age; 13. But if he were alive today, he’d be over 150 years old.
occupation; Earl of the Phantomhive Toy Making Company and the Queen’s Guard Dog. His company isn’t just limited to toys though. He branches out into the food industry, and he keeps in touch with many other companies, keeping his options open. And being the Queen’s guard dog pretty much means doing her dirty business, snooping around and solving big crimes in London.
race; A human being, a Victorian gentleman, yet one unafraid to make a deal with the devil.

in depth;

appearance; He’s a very small teen, and his short stature is only boosted slightly by the heeled shoes he wears. He’s quite skinny, and very pale, seeing as he doesn’t do much physical work himself. He has dark gray hair, a similar shade to slate, and a black eye-patch over his right eye. It hides the demon’s seal, and the vibrant purple of his eye. His normal eye is a midnight blue. He’s a rather attractive teen, but he still has a child’s face, which make him look slightly more feminine, which had led to him posing as a female at least once in his life, not exactly on his own choice.

personality; For the most part, he’s unsocial, irritable, and angsty. Most of his moodiness can be accounted for from the life he’s had to endure. The other part is from the servants nearly destroying the mansion and everything in it. He knows he’s not capable of much, so he uses people as pawns to do the dirty work for him. He’s willing to smile and be pleasant to you, so long as he could gain something from it. There are moments when he’s temporarily happy, but most of the time, he’s just doing work for his company, or for the Queen. However, despite his faults, he’s a proper gentleman, and does have his soft spots for certain people in his life.

history; Up to the second half of his childhood, life was wonderful for Ciel. He had a loving family, plenty of friends, and a beautiful estate to grow up on. They had no financial troubles, and with his father being the owner of a toy-making company, he certainly have enough toys to play with. He had a fiancé, Lizzie who was one of his closest friend at the time. His aunt was always there to play with him when his father was away, and he was never lonely. He had the childhood that any good-natured, pure boy should have.
But, being the Queen’s guard dog, the Phantomhive recruited many enemies, for various reasons. And in the middle of Ciel’s perfect childhood they struck. Everything was torn away from Ciel as his mansion was burned down, his parents inside. To make matters worse, despite the family butler, Tanaka, trying to save him, he was kidnapped by strange men who experimented on him and abused him for a whole month, scarring the boy’s mind for life.
The ill treatment changed him the boy forever. No longer was he the good-natured, naïve boy he had been in his past. He no longer trusted people as he once did. People can lie. People can kill. People can drive you to the brink of your sanity. The lesson harden Ciel for life, and prepared him for one of the biggest decisions of his life.
As he is dragged through the equivalence of hell, he summons a demon, offering to make him a contract. The contract stated that the demon must serve him as his butler, to protect him, and to carry out his orders. But all this was at a heavy price. On his dying day, the demon is allowed to devour his soul. A seal is put over Ciel’s right eye, causing him to wear an eye-patch, and the same seal that sears the butler’s left hand. The men torturing him were punished justly, but the full group of people who had burned down his mansion and captured him weren’t found. Still, on that day, Ciel gained a valuable and dangerous pawn, who he named Sebastian.
They returned to a new mansion, the only thing unchanged is that his old butler, Tanaka, still served in the mansion. Though Sebastian was more than capable of taking care of the mansion himself, Ciel made it his mission to find a suitable staff that would not only serve him faithfully, but be able to protect him or his mansion in a tight situation.
Finnie, Mey-Rin, and Bard soon joined the Phantomhive staff.
Bard was a soldier in the war, who watch his fellow troops die around him as he attempted to cut down the numbers of his other side. While mourning over the loss of a comrade, he was offered a position to use his skills with firepower in the Phantomhive mansion. He became the cook. He has a tendency to burn more than he can cook, but he truly tries his hardest to please Ciel.
Mey-Rin was in the middle of an assassination mission when she was found. She hesitated before taking the shot, seeing as the man had a growing family. She was surprised by Sebastian, and also offered a position in the Phantomhive house hold. She became the maid. Though her shooting skills are top-notch, she can’t seem to see very well, and insists on wearing the glasses the Phantomhives gave her, even though they probably don’t help her much to begin with. Also, she often drops things as she carries them.
Finnie was an experiment. Serums were pumped into his body by force, causing him to have super-human strength. He may have destroyed the lab in a fit, if it weren’t for the butler of the Phantomhives stepping in. He was also offered a position in the mansion, and accepted. He became the gardener. His spirit came back to him, and though his strength makes him more a menace than a maintenance to the plants, he puts his heart into any task he is given. Plus, his super strength comes in handy.
The new staff wasn’t exactly helpful in the mansion work; they were more of a hazard than anything, and very irritating to the thirteen-year-old. He might’ve strived to make friends with the new servants, had he not endured a lifetime of torture in under thirty days.
Coming back into the society of London, he took his father’s position as the earl of the Phantomhive Toy Making Company, expanding its reaches, and striving to make new business partners. He busied himself with is studies. And, in addition to being the earl of the company, he took on the duty of being the Queen’s Guard dog, doing the dirty work for the queen.
Still, Ciel always seems to harbor a darker goal, which only Sebastian seems to know…

finishing up;

roleplay sample;
(Just a note: This isn’t actually a role-playing example. But to better give you an idea of my writing capabilities, as good or as bad as I may be, I’m including a portion of my fanfiction. It has an OC in it, but I tried to cut him out to the best of my ability.)

Black. The traditional color of the Organization. It followed them on every journey they made. Their coats were black, their feelings were described as black, and even their souls could be noted to be black. It wasn’t just a color for hatred or elegance; it stood for nothingness, for apathy, for emptiness. And it also stood for death.
Once again, as the thirteen remaining members gazed around a single tombstone, black had followed them again. Twelve of the thirteen were wearing a black tuxedo, heads bowed with respect. The remaining woman was in a plain black dress, a veil over her head. Those crying hid their tears. Those who wished to say something held their tongue. There was nothing more to be said.
Why they had bothered with a tombstone when they had neither casket, nor anything that resembled a body, no one knew. They merely dug up an old chest from the closet and filled it with what-not; an unwashed cloak of the Psychic, still carrying his sweat-laden scent. A pair of armbands he had discarded in Zexion’s room and never thought to take back. A torn shirt he had sent to Marluxia to repair. A Red Mountain Dew. A case of make-up, a paintball pellet, a small recipe, a clipboard, a ticket stub, a pair of shorts, a Chinese warrior’s outfit, a pair of charred pants, a pair of swimming trunks, four hundred dollars attached to playing cards, a piece of paper with a clothing design on it, a bracelet, a second ticket stub…
And photos. They didn’t hide everything, but three whole albums filled with photos were placed in the chest, and the rest of it was stuffed with as many as they could fit. They still had a few back at the castle, unsure of what to do with them.
All buried six feet or so underground, under a plain tombstone. It was a slab in the shape of a cross, engraved with:
Here Lies ----------------------
The Fearless Psychic.
Missed forever. Gone, but never to be forgotten.

In the distance, a drawn-out, mournful howl sounded, continuing on for almost a whole hour. No one even bothered to look up to see who or what it was. It was just another background sound that added to their despair. It was just another being mourning over him.
It created almost a base tone, a low note, just humming in the background. Their wailing thoughts harmonized with it, until in their own minds, they each had an individual yet equally depressing tone, ringing over the hilltops, beyond the castle. No one moved. No one had to. They all understood.
One by one, they stood up and circled the grave, several dropping flowers, or other gifts for the departed. They wiped the grave clear of any snow and neatened it, trimming the nearby grass and arranging the offerings neatly over the freshly-dug earth. Zexion even discarded his jacket and covered the grave with it. He knew it would do no good to the stone, but it made the rock in the pit of his stomach ease slightly. Their kind acts, however, could do little to fill the empty space in their chests.
Into the next day they stood by his grave, still as statues, except for the occasional sob or sigh of pain, or wrapping each other’s arms around one another for a few moments to pull themselves together before tugging away, needing to bemoan alone again.
The first group of people left in the late morning. The Superior, the Luna Diviner, The Whirlwind Lancer, and the Chilly Academic knew there was nothing more they could do. By silent agreement, they each took two chairs, and carried them into the portal created by the tan-skinned man. They turned their heads, their vapid eyes taking in the nine others still mourning. They could’ve stayed there forever, but there was still much to do. Uttering silent farewells under their breaths, they were gone.
Several minutes later, the Freeshooter, the Savage Nymph, and the Graceful Assassin made their leave, taking the rest of the chairs, unable to take in the sad scene another moment. They would break themselves if there were to shed another tear. The scarred man opened a portal, allowing his first co-worker through. The woman hesitated before running over to the Gambler of Fate and kissing him lightly on the cheek, their tears mixing. He nodded to her, eyes showing emotion for the first time in several hours. With that, she slowly plodded to the portal. The black and white haired man waiting for her, again showing his kinder side, escorted her through, a hand on her shoulder. Personal disputes mattered not anymore. To get through these difficult times, if only for the first day, they needed to support one another.
The angelically sickening music continued, taunting them. How could something so sweet feel so sour? How could anyone stand to sing about someone as stiff as the dead in such a beautiful tone?

member title; Earl Phantomhive
anything else; Ciel, having witnessed some truly horrible sites, is capable of handling any scenario that you might throw at him. Being only thirteen, however, he’d rather not.
